Picked up a set of the fatty mousse balls from Slavens. They definitely have more volume than the MB-1000's, bead is almost fully seated after spooning them on. I used 24 and ended up with a 1/2" gap between each one, they feel pretty firm hopefully I can sneak a ride in tomorrow morning and test it out.

Took the kiddo back up to the mountains. Damn, she catching on quickly. I have a feeling she will be taking over my 250F quickly.

    IMG_8309.jpg IMG_8311.jpg

    I did find a nice husky 350 though....:anonymous:

Went with a neighbor that has a KRX SxS. Those things are huge for roads let alone trails.

Daughter wanted to go out riding yesterday. She is catching on quick and actually passed me up yesterday. I hit a root and was tossed off the trail momentarily and blew by me....and so eloquently shouted "loser"...

I figured it was time for her to drive the one ton just in case she ever needed to. She sure tested out those King shocks

Been looking at flatbed trailers. Out of everyone riding yesterday...I was the only one doing what we do for riding. ReactNativeBlobUtilTmp_nrm5wd3kf6rrctj6oxe2hq.jpg ReactNativeBlobUtilTmp_03hokh3lj5fhkpxrho0l2m9.jpg

Would be a lot easier to load/unload the bikes. If all you're going to use it for is the bikes, you could pick up one from Home Depot, Lowes, Tractor Supply, etc for pretty cheap.

Have you considered a dual position hitch mount type? I added a LED turn/brake/reverse strip connected to the 7-pin, for visibility.

I was thinking about it. I'm only 5'9" and my arms are extended putting the bike on the rear single mount. In the picture above with my daughter at the back of the truck, she is 5'8" and you can see where the bed is on her.

Besides...I can write off a flatbed. :anonymous:

Ah, plus you have the property to store it - trailer would be the way to go! Maybe even a small enclosed, so you can store gear and enjoy shade, unwinding at the trailhead.

Haven’t been on mine in over ten years and got tired of looking at it taking up space in the garage.

    Time for a rebuild. 2008 yz450.

Took apart the front end the other day. Cleaned and greased the bearings. Cleaned all the rust off the bolts.

Cleaning and regreasing the swing arm and pivots today. Then take apart the carb and rebuild it. Pull the radiators and flush them out. Change the motor oil. Put it back together and hope it runs.

    IMG_2421.jpg IMG_2427.jpg IMG_2484.jpg

I picked up this parts washer from Amazon a few years ago and it’s been sitting there since. Finally getting to use and I’m super happy I got it. It makes cleaning parts a breeze.

Don't you have a dump trailer? Does it have ramps like most of them do? I can't remember the size but it Would be cheaper just to use that

Turns out oil/grease seals deteriorate with age and lack of use. Partzilla to the rescue. 3 day wait for them. Motosport had me waiting for 2 weeks for new seals to show up.

Took the 450 out to E Street MX, don’t ride this thing much since getting the 300. It thanked me by blowing the fork seals, and the swing arm chain slider bolt backed out til the chain caught it and ripped it out lol! Oh well, still had a blast!

Thanks! It definitely looks cool, but having to repack 2 mufflers and replace the carbon end caps makes me wish I got the single exhaust option lol!

I never understood the dual systems. Usually manufacturers look to save weight any way they can, why double up?
