At least the 3rd gen threads aren't about LITERAL shit. But equally shitty, no question. I probably need to apologize for my participation in the shitshow.

I'm not a bidet hater, but I just don't get the appeal.

5 squares, double ply, folded in thirds, repeat as necessary.
No wiping mishaps. Never an issue with butthole cleanliness.:confused:

The previous (serious?) example of "getting poop, say, on your arm...."
If you're getting poop on your arm, or anywhere other than the general vicinity of your arse/arsehole for that matter, you should probably take steps to improve either digestion, aim or TP handling.
(Speaking as one who is NOT immune to the occasional Taco Bell blowout.)

All this shop talk brings back great memories. When I was in 11th grade, my shop teacher Mr. Furman approached me about something I was constructing. It was obviously a bong from every appearance, but he asked me anyways. When I told him it was just a lamp for my Mom, he just shook his head and laughed...this is why I miss the 80's. :)

    Same.
Wood Shop, 7th or 8th grade, Small Gas Engines in 9th grade, then Auto Mech. and Auto Body in HS.
Great stuff that taught me a lot and sent me down a path. Loved every bit of it.

I would imagine most of it is not offered anymore. :(

They absolutely are, but I didn't use mine for cleaning after a number 2....

It was the epic ball/junk washer post coitus :hattip:

Perfect combination of I don't have time for a shower and I don't want to wash my dick in the sink!!!!

Whatever this forum told me to do
I shit right before I shower.

    Bidet not needed.

the lake house had one-when we bought it.

I did not see/find the water warmer, so I took is out.

all y'all are retarded for not mentioning frigid water and/or lack of warmer.

I am completely disenchanted with this group for overlooking such an important component.

and please don't let this decay into a discussion of cold plunges.

So, you just shit on demand - - or more importantly don't shit until you demand? Maybe I'm the odd one for taking a shit when my bowels tell me to take a shit. Unless you just take a shower whenever your bowels tell you to take a shit. If you have some Taco Bell, are you taking six showers in the same day? Apologies for using the word shit ten shitty times in the same shit post, but inquiring minds want to know about this shit.

Also - never taken a cold plunge. Do they really do anything, or is it a placebo for people who don't have enough stress in their lives?

You're being too literal. I was just trying to say that your ahole is the only place on your body where you would rub some paper to get poop off. Everywhere else would be soap and scrubbing etc.

Whatever this forum told me to do
    it's more about being regular.

    morning shit

    evening shit.

    I've trained myself.

    and...my evening drink is:
    2 tbls metamucil
    1 tbls mag citrate
    1/2 tabls mag glycinate.
    scoop of casien protein

that drink will guaran-damn-tee you productive bowels.

cold plunge is for the fickle health zombies...doing whatever social media tells them too.

Around where I live the "shop" classes are coming back in a big way. In some of the more rural schools like the one my daughter goes to they never stopped. They have all the regular shop classes like woodshop, small engine repair, autoshop etc. But they also have Ag Mechanics which is pretty cool.
At my daughters high school last year, they have the most amazing shop I have ever seen at a high school. They have a CNC machine shop, welding and metal fab, woodshop etc. Really amazing opportunities for these kids.

Honestly, I'd wipe with paper towels if I could flush them. I blow my nose with them too. The abrasiveness of them gets everything.

So, true story of our old master bath...

Apparently, the dude that owned the house prior worked at one of the nice casinos on the strip. Allegedly, we had some very high end bathroom fixtures (old school kohler products) that were consistent with products found in some of the hotel's suites :notsure:

Everything was super shiny black (like from the late 90s) with polished brass hardware. Not my style, but every fixture in that bathroom was still operational 20 years after the alleged theft (I mean install). So, we never messed w/them....

Definitely paper towels for the nose... Tissues are a waste of time; too small and too flimsy

I'm not just wiping the outside of my nose, though. I use tissues like a little finger condom and go right in there. My nostrils aren't big enough to accommodate my finger and something as thick as a paper towel. Also, when I get a cold and have to wipe my nose hundreds of times, a paper towel gets tortuous. Otherwise, the argument for abrasive and absorbent wins.

That is really great to see and hear. More school districts need to get back to having these options.

Same here. I drop a deuce within 20 minutes of waking up and then shower/shave after and go about my day. Something like a bidet would be a nice to have but not necessary.

Now, what I would love to have is a standing urinal. Beats pissing into the toilet, splashing stuff all over the place and fiddling around with the toilet seat.
