I dont mean nothing by it, a little friendly heckling goes a long way. Wait until the next sale and pick yp the lbjs and bolts from a dealer. Or have em mailed to you from ourisman or whatever the cheap dealer is.

    FGT’s everywhere!?!?
It was rare to see one locally, then about 2 months ago starting seeing more and more. 2-3 a week go by working hard.

Just had another I’d never seen before go by where I was working pulling a trailer load of material.

Guessing I’ve probably seen a half dozen different ones in past 2-3 weeks.
    Majority are 2wd.

Don’t know where they suddenly started coming from..or what suddenly made people start buying them instead of one of big 3’s as work trucks.

There’s at least 10-20 in my small town that I see regularly. Most in decent shape, a few beaters. Money is the answer. New trucks are ridiculously expensive, and much less reliable.

I’ve been noticing them even when I was still looking.
I think There are just more of them now.
I’d like to see how those 2wd fare pulling a trailer up some of the hills here. There are few gravel roads so steep most trucks can’t get up without 4wd engaged especially when pulling a trailer.

I was speaking with my Rheumatologist this morning... getting old ain't for pussies, especially if you spent most of your life working with your hands and have sustained injuries along the way. Arthritis and neuropathy transform once easy tasks into real challenges... these days just picking up and holding onto hand tools is sometimes painfully laughable for me.

I have a 2wd titan. Its adequate, but a 4x4 would be 10x better. Everything about the titan is better than the tundra, but i caught the offroad bug before electric axles and lipo batteries. I could fit 60hp & 360lb.ft in the void where the titan misses the front diff. Even using stock cv axles. I’ll hit 300k in 160 miles.

I love audiobooks. It's how I stay sane on my daily commutes and has cut down my road rage pretty significantly. I just drive and disappear into a story.

    LOL. None at all.
I only mention it because for a work truck here on my little edge of Kiamichi mountains if you don’t have 4x4 on a half ton work truck you’re very limited on being able to get a trailer up lot of hills on some of the back roads.
When four-wheel-drive in my GMC konked I had problems getting to and out of lot of places.
Some I knew better than even try.

Some of the rental cabins still state “Must have 4x4 to access!”

My GMC is still 2wd but it’s very limiting on where I can go.
If don’t have a trailer and get a big enough run at it I can make it up a lot of them. But there 2 I’ve tried……..never made it.
