My bad, it wasn't these that I was looking at for the Kia, it was the Wildpeaks AT4's. The Kia has this weird size, 255/45-20 that are not that common of a size. I was surprised to see that Wildpeak had them and were cheaper than anything else I had found so far. I would be getting the 265/45-20 in the CrossContacts.

These are not the factory size for the jeep, I went up one size from 265/50/20 to a 275/55/20. Maybe there is another size they make that will work for you instead of the original size.

These are the three closest sizes to stock from the calculator. It has normal road type tires on it right now that suck. Even new the tires didn't like water much. Now with 35k miles on them, they are already needing replaced. Which is funny because they are Continental CrossContact LX Sport. I knew we would have problems with tires eventually since they were 20" rims. But that's the car she wanted. Most tires that I have found in stock size are over $300/tire on TireRack.

Sorry for the late follow up, since a couple people asked here is how it sounds on start up (the best part). I didn't record a solid before/after, but there is a lot of info out there so you can probably find a much better sound comparison.

    Pros:
    • Cheapish (I paid $400)
    • Great rumble sound on startup and idle
    • Install was easy, just make sure you have an exhaust hanger tool
    • Shiny
    Cons:
    • Cabin noise on acceleration is definitely noticeable, makes having a conversation a little annoying
    • Fitment can be tricky if you try rushing, need to make sure each piece is FULLY seated before securing with clamps, a rubber mallet assisted quite a bit. Even with that, I could just barely get the hangers to seat properly. You can see in the vid the 2 holes at the top on the last hanger are barely in there. I check it every now and then, and it hasn't been an issue yet.. but I'll probably look into adjustments in the future for peace of mind
    • Acceleration noise leaves a little to be desired. Not really a con for me, but just an FYI for others trying to sound like a bad ass peeling out of home depot
    • Cabin noise again, this took some time for me to get used to. It's not bad when cruising, but around town it was annoying at first with stop/go traffic. At highway speeds I hardly notice it, which is great
    • Fat MBRP logo on exhaust tip, not a fan
Overall I'm pretty happy with it, I would give it a solid 8/10 :D

Huh. Cruised up in 4H but I do have LSD.

and I was thinking we’d just pull him last 20’ once we were at the top/flat pad area.

I decided to go back to my original grill. I had to repaint it and decided to wrap the chrome pieces in gunmetal. It’s not perfect but it came out decent.

Today the wife and I pulled the 2 axle trailer and loaded up a neglected Troy Bilt Pony riding mower a mowing client gave us.

We think we can fix it up and sell it.

Ive got gunmetal paint too and bought that same color wrap and planned to do the grill. Then I changed my mind and swapped for the matte black wrap, but I still haven't installed. Looking at your grill, I'm waffling again. It does look good. Any issues removing the grill pieces for wrap? Any tips?
