I’ve already installed Vled universal puddle lights (working great) and bought the Vled footwell kit (front and rear) but I’m concerned everything combined will overload the stock footwell wire where it’s all connected. Anyone running all of these items safely? Will adding the footwell kit dim the output of the puddle lights?

Been running full Front and rear footwell kits
Since they came out. I don’t even know how long they’ve been installed because it’s been so long lol. But no issues. The amp draw on those LEDs is in the milliamps. There’s nothing to worry about.

Do you guys think it’s an issue in the long term that the vled puddle lights draw power directly from the stock footwell wire and not tapped at the tail fuse like the vled footwell kit? I’ve been reading that the stock footwell wire should only be used as a trigger but not dedicated power source.

so little power draw from a couple of LEDs you will be absolutely fine.

Not at all. All of those LEDs combined probably draw less amperage than the incandescent bulb that was in there.

Running both absolutely no problem at all.
