Just put this setup on my truck that has Bilstein 6122 front suspension (set to 1.7") + Bilstein 6100 rear suspension w/ Eibach Pro coils. I am getting a good amount of rub when turning and backing out of my driveway. I am wondering two things:

    1) Would moving the front suspension up to 2.2" make a big difference? Guy who did it recommended not going higher otherwise I'd have sway bay end link issues.

    2) Should I just remove the brace/bracket from the rear part of the front wheel wells to move the liner back?

Or would I need a bigger lift (say 3") to avoid this?

Do you have a link to a good video showing how to do it?

Would removing the bracket and trimming the liner be sufficient or will I need more?

35's on a 3rd gen. is stupid easy. No body mount/cab mount whatever chop needed with the offset you have. Leave it on there.

I'm on 5100s at 1.8" lift position in front.
Yes, the bolted-on bracket needs to go. Remove two bolts, pin the liner back, done.
Minor liner trim in front of the tire.

By the numbers, your Toyo O/C's actually measure 34.5 when new.
The 285's I'm running are 34.8 and I have less offset.

Granted, your tires are wider, but your wheel offset has them pushed out an additional 1/2" beyond mine, assuming a 9" wide wheel.

Exact wheels I have are KMC KM727MX17856800. They are 17x8.5, 6x139.7 bolt pattern, 4.75 backspace, 0mm offset, 106.10 bore. Does that change anything?

Not really, you're wheels are a little narrower, meaning a little more tire bulge.
I'm just looking at your numbers, and you're not trying to do anything crazy, or hasn't been done hundreds of times already.

My point is, it shouldn't require any major cutting. Just liner trimming and repositioning after the bolted bracket is removed.

Sounds good, I will do the trim then and reevaluate.

Removed the bracket and no loud rubbing. A bit on the liner, but I will trim that and pin it back further. Thank you!
