    I've a platinum 2024 tundra
Purchased OEM TRD Pro grille during the 4th of July sale.
    Ordered 53101-0C220 grille & PT358-34220-AB marker lights

Can someone pls post the part number for the light bar and what other hardware do I need to order with this?

Be aware that it is quite expensive and it easily outperformed by other less expensive aftermarket options.

If you have the grille shutter the light bar will not fit....finding that out for myself. There is a reinforcement that goes behind the light bar to help sturdy up the grille and that makes it to thick to fit in between the grille itself and the shutter

The part # for the reinforcement is 52141-0C080

    I'm sorry what's a grille shutter?
I still don't have my grille delivered but this is a pic of an OEM grille that I grabbed from eBay

The grille shutter sits behind the grille. It's like a window shutter, as it has flaps that open and close depending on operation temperature...

As I said in another thread, it is CANBUS. Nothing is simple with CANBUS. I suppose if you can source the correct parts and get an accurate pin-out of the lightbar plug, you can wire it for a simple switched circuit independent of the CANBUS. That's assuming there is no internal logic preventing that.

As others have said, it's not worth this hassle for the weak output. Get a DD, Heretic, or Baja Designs and call it a day.

I agree that there are probably better preforming light bars out there, but the Toyota one fills the gap so well lol....

Is the reinforcement recommended if you are going to run the pro grill without a light bar?

Sounds like it interferes with the shutters?

How does it clear the shutters on the pro trucks?

And to the OP, aftermarket would be the way to go.
    DD light bar

And just to put it out there, the Toyota light bar itself will fit. However from what I can find is that the grille needs the reinforcement or it's just too flimsy, and that reinforcement makes it about 1/2 inch to thick to fit with the shutters

If yours is a hybrid the Toyota one wont interfere either, you have no shutters to worry about

Actually with it being a hybrid I would look at the wiring to the left of the steering wheel where are your switches are and see if you are pre wired.. You MAYBE able to plug and play the Toyota one and it look bone stock! I like that....

I have a hybrid platinum. Thing I will say.
There is no pre wiring for light bar. Depend gong on the features you have you may be able to add a switch to where the switch panel left off the wheel is.
    There are shutters.
Diode or Baja are significantly better than oem as theirs is a “high beam assist”

Also, cant use the oem light bar switch if you have the oem e-running boards. Only one spot for that size switch

not to be rude. But what is the logic of that? It’s aerodynamics and engine temp control. Bonuses the same engine and aerodynamics.

lol no worries. I just thought that hybrid may not need the shutters to warm up the engine. I believe thats are the shutters are for. Restrict air flow to warm up the temp and open to cool the truck down

Partially correct. They don’t help warm the truck.

Wouldn't closing the shutters restrict air flow over the radiator and warm the truck up to operating temps faster?

Logically yes. But I’ve remote started my truck in -50 and they aren’t closed.
