I have a 2003 AC with the 3.4. Has anyone replaced the exhaust for this engine? Basically everything is rusting out, time for a whole new system. I can find several options for the V8, but after two hours of googling, I can’t find a single option for a complete exhaust for the 3.4. Does anyone know where I can find a complete kit from first cat to tailpipe?

    Thanks,
    Max

Best bet would be to have a local exhaust shop build you one.

Ourisman Toyota is a good online along with Serra Toyota.

From Ourisman 2003 AC 2WD V6....chose SR5 since your profile does not specify SR5 or LTD.

Looks like the oem parts are discontinued. Thinking I will go to a local exhaust shop and have them build me one.

Keep it quiet, nobody wants to hear a loud v6. I dont know how picky the 5vz’s are about cats, so find out if high-flow is safe. There are companies that make the y-pipe, but a shop should be able to copy it.

I would hit the major exhaust manufacturers (the big names) and see if they have a cat-back kit for your truck. Last I checked (this year), at least one of them did, between Magnaflow, Gibson, Bassani, and one other whose name isn't coming to mind. We V8 guys are luckier, but there were definitely V6 cat-back kits available.

I’m pretty sure Walker still makes the complete exhaust system for this truck.

Thank you for the tips everyone!

That eBay find is not a bad price.

I went to my local custom exhaust shop today for a quote. To replace everything after the first cat with stainless, they quoted $950. No flanges either, all welded. Next best option I found was Magnaflow, but they were closer to $1500 same job in stainless (although muffler and cat seem to be higher flow). Aluminized from Magnaflow was only $650, but I see a lot of salt here in Maine, I think stainless is the way to go for me.

Thank you all for the help!
