Really? I'm on the east side and the storm rolled in from the south. You might be confused, are you actually up in the basin?

ya, my sister in law who's out there now sent me a video.

just looks like a minor thunderstorm to me, but we get really violent weather here and even worse in northern MN where I vaca.

that said, we dont have those washes here at all so that will be interesting to see.

    its almost moving time

Yeah it’s nothing to big, but we’ve been pretty dry this year, so we embrace even the smallest amount

Yep, so you are in the basin. It's been settled Tundras AZ law for a few years that Tucson is the valley and the greater Phoenix area is the basin.

I think I’ll get one of those shelf’s looks nice

I was thinking of maybe just a side 0 entry lane type thing with a rail for the older folks maybe on the side of the shelf or something

Trying to think if I want umbrellas like the other guy or a shade sail

Sails are cool if you have the right setup, but you need really good anchor points for those and they aren’t easy to take down during storms. We have 2 umbrella sleeves on the shelf, the big cantilever umbrella on the sun deck, and another 9 ft umbrella we move around as needed. Gets us plenty of shade and are easy to take down when it gets windy. Just make sure you do or this shit happens.

Shit, I have seen large metal sheds vacate the backyard and end up in the street. We can get some strong storm winds/micro bursts.
