My Airstream has a factory installed camera that is paired to supplied small display. The small external display uses the signal sent by the camera via wifi ( I believe). The display is powered by the 12 volts dash cigarette lighter of my Tundra.

Ideally I would like to pair it direct to my Tundra's multi media display.

I know Toyota sells the Tow Tech Pkg w/ Wireless Trailer Camera System. I would like to avoid to change the camera already installed on my trailer.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi

I was curious about your question, so I searched the Airstream forum. I found this thread:

    https://www.airforums.com/forums/f317/voyager-back-up-camera-with-apple-play-202752.html

It appears your RV camera is a Voyager, which uses a proprietary system to link the camera and monitor. Unfortunately, I doubt you'll be able to link the camera to your truck's screen.

You are correct. The Voyager camera system most likely will not allow me to send the signal to pair it to my dash/Toyota display. I got the tow Tech Pkg w/ Wireless Trailer Camera System and will try to replace the voyager on the back of my Airstream.

The ideal outcome would be to be able to have the images of the camera to display at digital rear view mirror.

I think I'd prefer the images to display on the big 14" infotainment screen. I'm not impressed with the digital rearview mirror. The image is too distorted for me.

Let me know if you find a solution. I have a wireless Voyager camera on my 2023 Bigfoot travel trailer that connects to its small display and I’d like to have a remote camera that connects to the 14” screen in my truck.
