93 piece Carbon Fiber Interior Trim kit 2022 Tundra

Above is a rather complete interior trim kit for a 2022+ Tundra that I am considering buying, but I'd like to hear someone else's opinion first. Has anyone either bought or seen a kit like this? How good is the adhesive? Does it scratch easily? These questions and a myriad of other need to be answered before I drop nearly $500.00 on this. Anyone with any experience or opinion, feel free to chime in. As of right now the only thing I have is a love of carbon fiber, but otherwise I'm in the dark. Thanks in advance!

I’ve never used a kit like that that, but the trim piece that covers the console shifter area is very commonly used. As long as the quality is decent, it will mostly depend on the application. Clean surfaces before applying. A steady hand.

 

I've done about everything else. Cosmetic changes are nearly all that is left, and yes, I love carbon fiber.

 

I love real carbon fiber also, but that’s a lot of overlays for one interior. I put a few overlays of carbon on the exterior of my pillars recently, but I wouldn’t use any more. I prefer to have full replacement carbon pieces made but it gets expensive.

 

Where can that be done at?! I know CF is expensive, but getting actual replacement parts made of CF sounds AWESOME! Do you have a link or company name? Thanks in advance!

Amazon has the same trim covers for much cheaper and probably the same quality.

My carbon mirror covers are finally done. Should have them in my possession next week.

 

Soon. Problem is nobody makes a race kit. I've been patiently waiting, but might have a backup plan.

 

Brian, that isn't real carbon though, yes? I'd be worried about dust and road debris getting underneath the caps and scratching the surface.

 

2 layers of real carbon per mirror. The sheets were permanently bonded to a pair of OEM covers, so no need to worry about any gap.
