    Hello all!

    I was speaking with Dustin at FN wheels. They make very high quality wheels, flow form, hub centric. Checks a lot of boxes. High quality aluminum. Multiple certifications.

    Specifically the FN Fx wheel in matte black.

    the size he is offering is 18x9 with a +25mm offset. Honestly perfect for what we have for our tundras.

    bolt pattern is a 5x150, takes M14x1.50 lug nuts.

    it is a replica of the TRD wheel, but he has added/designed some cool custom features which are way better than stock and make it unique.

    below are some pictures/examples.

    right now things are back ordered for a while until ~December, but if we can get other Tundra members to commit, we can receive them possibly earlier and at a possible group rate. Also it helps lock down the wheel and guarantee you’ll get one.

    I’ll list his info if you want to reach out to him personally or have questions.

    thanks again for considering!

    again, all has to be the same wheel, can’t be custom from what I listed above. I have found it super difficult to find wheels that look this good and this high of quality.

    The more people to commit and place a deposit the better deal we could get.

    see link below for reference images and posts. I stole a couple pictures to show as an example.

    he also has a profile on here, so feel free to search FN wheel and message him.

    Here is a post that shows more details about FN Fx-pictures.

    Lastly, I am not paid for any of this. Just a die hard fan of tundras and trying to get a quality wheel, but I also think you all would like it too.

    thanks for looking!

    Yes, blank black center caps are available at no cost, or the standard black caps with the logo FNW in it.

    Dustin says he uses this company for stickers on the black blank center caps if you want the TRD logo that are super high quality and has used for many years.

    Here is link to stickers if interested with order

    I will mention too, shipping is for the 48 contingent states, Alaska and Hawaii likely not included. But I’ll let him confirm.

    I’ve read noting but positive reviews for these wheels. Super hard to get.

    Thank you Leo aka @Tundrav82019 for making this post!

    Please allow me to answer some of the questions below, and also fill in some other details.

    Leo contacted me about the 18" FX Pro a few weeks ago, and I told him we'd likely be out of stock until early 2026. He was interested in getting a set sooner than that, and I told him that demand, in general, had been a little soft, and lead times have been a little funky because of the tariffs. Prices also will increase because the Section 232 tariffs on all aluminum and steel products have substantially increased our cost.

    I mentioned to Leo that if we could get a group of customers who are interested in leaving deposits, then we (FN Wheels) can speed up the production lead time and likely have the wheels ready by the end of the year. I will also honor the pre-tariff pricing for anyone who leaves a deposit by a specific date.

    As of right now, for the purposes of this group buy, I can honor the pre-tariff pricing of $1,349 for a set of four wheels with shipping included anywhere in the contiguous 48 states. In and of itself, this is a pretty substantial discount given that the tariffs are up to 50% for aluminum products.

    If we have 10 customers who leave deposits I can offer you guys an additional one-time discount of $50 off your set of four wheels. We will be working on extremely thin margins, and this order is likely to be the last time that we're able to offer this pricing unless there is a dramatic reversal in the cost of the tariffs. Going forward, I don't expect to be able to offer even the $1,349 price let alone $1,299. It's important that I notate this for anyone reading this post in the future. It pains me to say it, but the price will be increasing after this.

    The deposit amount will be 10% of the cost of the order. The deposit will be non-refundable unless we are unable to deliver the wheels by a set date. I will clearly convey that date to everyone before taking deposits. We'll know for certain once we have enough names on our list. I also may decide to just go ahead and order production sooner if we get at least 5 or 6 deposits. There will be a cut-off date for the discounted price.

    What's so special about these wheels?

    The 18" FX Pro is a light-weight, strong, flow formed wheel that is made from high purity 6061 T6 aluminum alloy. The wheels are hub centric for the 2007-21 Tundra hubs, and the offsets are designed to fit Tundras with 0" ~ 3" of lift and up to 35" tire diameters.

    These wheels are extremely durable, both in terms of the strength and rigidity of the wheel itself and the finish. The load rating is 2,500lbs per wheel tested to SAE J2530 standard (one of the strictest testing standards in existence). This wheel was also tested/certified with oversized (35" diameter) tires to ensure safe operation on Tundras with larger tires. The paint and clear coat has much better UV protection than the OEM Toyota Pro wheels, meaning that our wheels resist the elements better and aren't prone to fading as quickly as the factory matte black TRD wheels.

    Who is FN Wheels?

    My name is Dustin, my company is FN Wheels, and we have specialized in Toyota truck wheels for 20 years. As a Toyota enthusiast myself, my only goal during those 20 years has been to offer the best product possible and maintain a stellar reputation.

    Our manufacturing partner has produced world class wheels for over 40 years. We aren't sourcing the cheapest garbage wheels on Alibaba made from pot metal and reselling them as a replica brand via random websites. There are dozens of companies like that who have popped up in recent years (I'd be happy to tell you guys who they are if you want to contact me privately), and frankly it bugs the heck out of me that those companies exist.

    Our wheels were designed and engineered from the ground up, third party quality tested and safety certified, and I personally do a final QA/QC inspection before shipping to the customer.

    How will my wheels be shipped?

    We don't drop ship. We inspect all wheels after receiving them from our factory and prior to shipping to our customers. All wheels are prepped for shipment by protecting the face of the wheel, reinforcing the outer edges of the wheel (front and back), double boxing the wheel, and shipping fully insured with signature confirmation. This is all included in the price you pay - no gimmicks, no add-ons, and no games.

    How can I contact FN Wheels?

    We are one of very few companies that still have a working phone number, and we welcome customer calls with questions. You can call us just about anytime of day at (951)735-1100, (855)WHEEL-00, email FNWheels@gmail.com, or you can call / text me on my cell : (714)390-9387. We also welcome local pick ups from our warehouse in Corona, California. We don't shy away from customers.

    Here's one of my Tundras with 18" FX Pros in matte gunmetal:

    and here's my dad's truck with a set of 18" FX Pros in matte black that I installed for him:

    ^This is with 275/70R18 before we switched out to 295/70R18.

    ^This is the same truck with 295/70R18 tires.

    Thanks! The 18x9" +25 5x150 FX Pro flow formed weighs approximately 26.2lbs per wheel.

    Thanks!

    Yes, the standard cap is a plain matte black cap. We have various logos for our caps as well, and some customers choose to add "TRD" or the Toyota symbol using vinyl appliques from ImportEquipment.com.

    This is the standard cap without a logo:

    Thank you! Your truck looks great. I like what you did with your caps as well.

    We do have one set of 18x8.5" +18 FX Pros in matte bronze in stock. Alternatively, if we have interested in 18x9" +25 5x150 matte bronze we can make a production run in those specs as well.

    The wheels work with PT280-35220-G0 OEM Toyota center caps. Toyota only makes the cap in a brushed aluminum type finish, so it might not be for everyone's taste, particularly in black wheels. Some customers do like them in matte black wheels though, and the TRD caps look pretty good in our bronze or gunmetal wheels.

    Thanks! Current price is $1,349 / set of four including shipping anywhere in the contiguous 48 states. This is "pre-tariff" pricing. Our cost now is definitely higher as a result of the Section 232 tariffs on aluminum and steel, but I told @Tundrav82019 that we can honor this pricing for at least one more production run, and if we receive 7-10 deposits to get this order going we can offer at least $50 off (plus any additional shipping discounts).

    Thank you!

    Here's what our interest list looks like so far:

    Matte Black
    @Tundrav82019
    @BigAl
    @KH1414
    @shawn474
    @texasrho83

    Matte Bronze
    @H20ne : Currently owns a set of 18x9" FX Pro wheels in matte black - considering matte bronze.

    If we can get a couple more customers to commit to matte black I will start asking for deposits. Once we receive the deposits I can place the order with my factory, and we can get the ball rolling right away. Lead time is approximately 4-6 months from the date that I send the PO to my manufacturer.

    Thanks for the info, Dustin! Excellent post. Quick question: will these work for 37s?

    Yes, you can install 37" tires on these wheels.

    If you install 37" tires you will need to be mindful of overloading the truck, i.e. adding a camper, towing, rooftop tent, tons of gear, steel bumpers, etc., because all of that increases the load on the wheels, tires, and axles. Larger tire diameters effectively reduce the overall load rating. Maximum tire diameters are something most wheel companies don't bother pointing out, but they really should.

    If your truck is mostly stock in terms of weight and you're considering installing a lift with 37x12.50R17 tires, then I don't see any issue with that. These wheels are plenty strong.

    Alternatively, if you were to max out your payload capacities and install 35" tires you definitely won't have any issues with overloading, since the 18" FX Pro wheel load ratings with up to a 35" tire diameter exceeds the Tundra's axle rating. My main concern would be a Tundra with lots of added weight + 37" tires.

    If you want to install 37's and really push the weight capacities of your Tundra, we developed a 17x9" Five Star and a 17x9" Six Shooter that were both specifically tested and load rated for 37's:

    Let's see:

    Steel bumpers :thumbsup:
    Full steel truck box :thumbsup:
    Winch :thumbsup:
    Replacement spring packs (heavier than OEM) :thumbsup:

    Sounds like no problemo.
