I'll be doing the Heritage grill swap on my 25' 1794 Hybrid sometime later this summer/early fall. At that time, I'll also be adding two light bars, new fogs, and some ditch lights.

Since I have the Hybrid, I'm looking for a good power solution for adding all these goodies and not having to run them to the battery under the backseat. I'll likely be going with the Garmin PowerSwitch controller and then using the CarPlay app to control them from the cab.

I'm looking at kits that are out there and I've found these two:

    SDHQ:

Any other options out there? Anyone have either of these? Both of these are somewhat pricey IMO, but I don't know of a better option out there...so if you do - please let me know! Many thanks!

I plan on getting my own large gauge wire and fuse and just runnning it myself. I’ll just run mine straight to the d switch once I get it. These kits are outlandish with the costs.

Yeah, I'm having a hard time with the pricing as well. I've almost ordered the SDHQ option a few times and always back out during checkout. It seems to be $100-$200 worth of material/parts and about $800 for the convenience.

I think it depends on what you plan on running. For me it’s just lights. It’s easy enough to run the positive and just ground to a ground in the engine bay. I’ll cut a small hole in a grommet, feed it through and seal it.

No, but like AF555 just posted there are instructions for the hybrid.
