Anyone have trd or Toyota tube style take off for a crew max I would be interested in North Carolina. I just added the 3” trd lift and now I’m climbing in

I went with the Westin Outlaw steps. Love these! With a 6” lift, they are perfect! IMG_5767.jpgIMG_5786.jpg

Those are not the slims. These are the RB20 slims.

I just love mine. Some people believe they are too narrow but I think the slims suit this truck the best.

If you live in an area prone to road salt I would have them recoated by your local Line-X dealer. I had mine done that way, brackets, hardware and both sides of the running board. They even removed the Go Rhino name plate and reinstalled after recoating. Cost me an extra $300 CDN but well worth it. I hear the factory coatings even their bedliner stuff does not hold up very well.

I went with the textured black. It says 5 year finish warranty so I am going to make sure I register them because I know what you mean.

Good luck with that. Warranties these days are only good if the supplier respects them. They will find any excuse or something in their fine print to avoid costing them more money.

Anyone have issues with the factory tube type boards not extending far enough past the body? Mine are barely useable. My 15 had plenty of room to get your foot on them.

i'd probably get different boards if I spent more time off-roading especially on any gnarly terrain. for me its only for hunting and i'm not traveling too far into the backcountry. but plenty of time to figure that out. they are perfect for me right now

Headed to a local dealership today to see if the TRD Running Boards would suit me. No off roading, just need an easy to use step.
The width in total was about 6 3/8th, of which 4 1/4 was clear of the truck.
A bit to narrow for my liking.

Anyone have the GoRhino RB30 Wide 7" or GoRhino RB20 Extra Wide 7.5"?
If so, some pictures would be appreciated.

I’m not offended by a scratch and dent sale. A little rubberized coating and it’s good to go.

I found a guy selling his Predators for reasonable amount. Switched the factory straight boards with them and like the look and function of the predators vs. the originals. I use my truck off-road for work and play, but not like muddin' offroad, and the predators have always been good for me on my '16 in the past.

Most recently, I had a '22 Platinum with the electric running boards. It's one of the very few things I'll miss about that truck (along with power bed-step), but dang that's an expensive upgrade in the aftermarket.

My 8 yr old and I are doing this job this afternoon.
I read somewhere that it’s better to totally assemble it off the truck and then bolt it to the body.

the install video was misleading apparently
