Just curious if anyone out there has leased their 2018 instead of purchasing? Wondering what kind of residual values you might be looking at (on any trim) or what kind of deals you may have gotten. Thanks!

Normally residuals on a Yota truck are very high. I wouldn't think 2018 would be any worse.

If I remember correctly, I think my 2015 SR5 TRD offroad is about $26k.

are you planning on buying at the end ? if you mod, you better. the low interest rates for purchasing might be a better option.

    I recall my 2016 being $42 with $32 residual after 3 years.

I’m mostly just curious...checking out different options. I haven’t had a truck for years (since a ~2005 Tacoma). Mods are not at the top of my priority list necessarily but who knows. I’ve been looking at the Platinums but like I said, just exploring some of the different options.

Thing is if I buy this one, its like buying a used 3 year old tundra with say 30k miles, for $25k, that's a lot less than I see used ones for on the dealer lots.

I think it was $39k and some change. I only put on 5k miles a year so I knew I was buying it at the end of the lease. Mods and pinstripes made it for sure.

Lease versus buy really depends on how often you buy vehicles and how many miles you drive. I am sure you can find a lease versus buy analysis if you google it. Other factor is mods. If you mod then purchase or buy at end of lease. I always buy but also drive 20k per year.
