I can certainly design this! I actually just bought their Lunar Rock color cup holder replacement for the front. Came in today. I’ll work on this design after I install the cup holder.

Has anyone found a good light switch and fuse mount to 3D print yet? I refuse to pay $350 for the one made by Blaze even though it does look nice.

Nice work! I’ve been looking for a Top Center Tray cover that I can mount a dash cam on and get power underneath. Not sure how the camera visibility will be. Might have to lift it a bit with a mount. You’re idea of an actual tray replacement is growing on me. Q? So this stuff won’t get soft when the dash is 200°?

$350 for this mount that you have in the pic for the Garmin and fuses? That’s nuts. I could certainly draw up something like this. I just need measurements. Don’t know how I would get that without getting a sample and having to buy it.

I haven’t had that top tray piece in the direct sun for very long. It has probably gotten up to ~115F of so in the truck in the hottest days down here in SC and it’s been fine. Don’t know how it would do at 200F. However, I do plan on printing that in ASA once I get some in. It’s supposed to withstand higher temps and UV over PETG, which is what that piece is now.

I don't much like the tray on the top of the dash. That much direct sunlight is going to overheat anything running up there. I went with ProClip's mount for my phone.

I don't yet know exactly what would better organize the huge box under the armrest. Just that the factory arrangement is lame. The slide-back thing in the lid itself just seems stupid, and the open tray on the top behind that seems even less useful.

I’ve had my PETG print in direct sunlight for a couple months now and no warping. Even if it did warp from UV exposure eventually, ASA would be just fine up there. It’s material made for direct sunlight and outdoor use.

Planning on printing a sample in ASA soon.

I printed a dash bezel and a bunch of inner dash mounts/brackets in PETG, and as you're already getting to, are going to rightfully move away. The bezel was fine over 2yrs as it was a substantial print, but the inner pieces which saw a bit more environmental heat from the electronics, and were thinner due to being plate-like structures, did warp/sag. I did try to print new bezels with a resin printer but ran into dimensional issues from the machine itself. So, back to FDM, but this time it'll be ABS. Would do ASA, but this go-round will be getting finished/painted, so I'm not concerned about the UV risk.

Point is, don't offer these ideas as PETG.

Thanks for the comments. Sounds like PETG just can’t hold up. I’ll focus on ASA for sure.

What about inserts for a bed divider that way you don’t have to cut it at a 6 degree angle?

This is a great idea. I’ll log this away for a future design. I’ve been meaning to make a divider anyway so I can test this.
