I've been doing some research and it appears that the main places people mount their amps are either under the front seats or on the back wall behind the rear passenger seats.

With that being said, I've settled on the front passenger seat. My concern are scratches. For those of you who has mounted your amps under your seats, is it getting beat up? Any scratches/scuff marks?

I like to keep my gear as clean as possible, plus it is a pretty expensive amp. It's an Alpine Status HDA-V90 if anyone cares.

    Thanks in advance!

Unless you have kids or dogs that ride around in the cab, then I wouldn't worry about it. The only way it's going to get dinged up is if you have someone in the back seat putting their feet on it. Then a simple, nice but firm warning to "not get your grubby feet on my amp" should suffice.

Definitely not like the driver's side. I wouldn't dare install my JBL HD900/5 under the driver's seat. I have a powered captains chair, and that joker gets loooooow to the floor.
