I’ve been stalking the forums about how to remove rubbing on the front fender flares and everyone mentions pushing the bumper up and drilling new holes. I’ve been trying to find a step by step video on how to do this and can’t find one. I’ve been able to make this progress with a heat gun and taking off the mud flaps but still get rubbing.

Post some pics from further out so we can see what is going. What is your wheel size, offset, and tire size? Any lift or leveling kit?

When pushing the bumper up is mentioned, they are referring to installing shims...

I recently upgraded my suspension with wheels and tires and installing the shims helped with my rubbing issue.

The affordable method is by using nuts which accomplishes the same thing. There's a thread in here specifically going over that. I'll see if I can find it for you...

Edit: This thread looks like it discusses shims and the nuts or washers

34.5/12.5/R18 +12 offset 3 inch lift. According to my sources online this lift should be completely possible. Ig I’m just slow and can’t figure this out

Bumper shims as mentioned will push the bumper forward 1/2 inch. More pictures from a little further out will help us determine what is going on. Your current picture looks like the tire is fully against the fender liner.

I would do the bumper shims and see if it gives you enough room. You can either do it with washers or you could get the actual shims. You can install them one side at a time without removing the bumper.

    https://shop-coachbuilder.myshopify.com/products/coachbuilder-front-bumper-shim-kit

To install them, loosen the nuts on both sides of the bumper. Take the nuts off of one side which will allow you to slide it forward off of the studs. Install the shims or washers and then temp install the nuts and repeat the procedure for the other side. Tighten them all down and you're done.

Here is a video posted by @frichco228 a while back.

IMG_5502.jpg image.jpg I took the bolts out on the bottom of bumper holding the liner. Then ground about an inch or so from the inside bumper. Then drilled two new holes to put bolt's and nuts through to help hold the inside liner back. Then used a heat gun to form liner further away from tire. The bottom pic is of bottom side of bumper. I have 35” tires with no rub.
