Looking how to wire this into my 2000 Toyota Tundra. The lock and unlock works and the lights flash like it should. But the truck won't start from the remote. I am using most of the astrostart connections. I have screen shots below. Do I need a bypass module?86A_scan.jpg Screenshot_20250626-172654.Chrome.png

It's not that I really want to pass people off - someone on here may be able to answer your question. I'm only going to tell you to make sure you understand how relays work, verify any relays used, and if you used T-taps (ugh) instead of soldering, get out a multimeter and check your connections that you mangled the wires by smashing (ugh...) the crimp adequately.

That said, if you check those things and find it's not working, I'd probably reroute you over to The 12 Volt's install questions forum: https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/

The AutoStart/AstroStart brands are very well-known. Your truck won't have immobilizer, so you should just need to intercept and trigger start.

But The12Volt's install/how-to section is great resource: https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_topics.asp?fid=24

They do have alarm wiring info for the 2001 and 2003, which may not be identical, but may help (we also have wiring diagrams here on the forum HERE):

They also have full wiring archives, but it appears you have a diagram already, so maybe not helpful. These install threads may also help you, though for other brands, there's a ton of overlap:

Their forums may not be as active as here, so that may be an issue. I believe DEI has acquied both AstroStart and AutoStart at this point, so there's a solid chance you can contact them for support also: https://www.directed.com/support

I don't know if they offer support to end customers, but may be worth a shot. I don't work for a shop that pushed DEI products in a long time, and I'm actually the guy who'll tell you, from that experience, never to use an aftermarket non-OEM alarm. I don't want to be the guy to help (others here might)

You can also use their website to look up a local installer, who you may be able to slide them an Andrew Jackson to look over your wiring for you.
