I would to dim my DRL

Good morning everyone , I got 2016 tundra and replace front headlights to 2018 led , I bought it from headlights resolution with wire hardness , but my drl is so bright , how can I get it dim down ?

 

You replaced your original headlights with factory LEDs? And you think the daytime running lights are too bright?

What makes you think they are too bright? I do not believe they are dimmable.

 

They are supposed to be bright during the day. Thats their whole purpose. They dim when the headlights are on.

Your first mistake was buying from Headlight Revolution, other than that re rewire the headlights to use the dim setting for DRL and nighttime use.
I don't care for the bright white DRL either, so I kept my amber DRL from my 2014, and the dim setting white LEDs come on with the parking/headlights.

If that interests you, contact member @iHacker and see if he can make you a harness for your 2016.

 

I believe since you are using a harness, They won’t dim like they would on an 18+ oem application

 

Yes I understand that I made a mistake buy the headlights set from headlights resolution ! But the white DRL is hook up to ignition so so turn the key is on , I turn the headlights on the DRL is not dimming down ! I just would like to know how can I order the wire hardness from 1 of the gentleman on the group . Thank you .
