    Hey so I’m getting new wheels and am debating 35s or 37s the car is on a 1.75 level king kit with rear spacers and will be moved over to king 3.0 within the next 2 months. Any recommendation on which size to go with along with if a rehear is needed for 37s, as I’ve seen very mixed responses

    3/1 Lift, 35s, Front Bumper, etc etc
    Year make and model will go a long way…

    pretty sure it would be hard to stuff 37” on a 2nd Gen with just a 2” level; I know it can be done with perfect offset but it’s a challenge

    and in terms of regearing, that falls down to what gears you have from factory, each model is different with tow package and without etc; you could also potentially look at a tune instead to get some power back

    Welcome! No regear options available yet for the third gen’s, but as other people have said, doesn’t seem necessary. My truck spins its 35s with ease. My truck is just leveled, no lift in the rear, and I’ll still rub the tires on the fenders when I bottom out, but that’s mostly because of my zero offset wheels. Go with whatever look you prefer - the only thing I’d do, if I were to do it again, is getting C-load 35s instead of heavy ass E-load.

    Is having a full size spare important to you? If so, a 37" won't fit in the factory spot, but if you're going with 3.0 Kings, I'm assuming the truck is being built for high speed desert use and will carry the spare(s) in the bed for weight distribution...

    Yes I’ll be putting a bed spare in the upcoming months so that’s not too big of a worry. More just worried if I’ll clear 37s for the two months without 3.0 kings and if it’ll need a regear as not sure what mpg or if it creates a drag feeling with the 3rd gen tundra

    Suspension lift does not aid in your ability to clear larger tires when actually cycling the suspension. If you use the full stroke of the suspension, at some point, the suspension will be compressed and the wheel will the in the same place as it would be with the stock setup, effectively having zero lift.

    Are you on any aftermarket suspension or leveling kits? Also how is the clearance been when it comes to travel

    If you are even remotely concerned about MPG stick to stock tire sizes. Adding all that rotational mass is going to be a hefty bit of extra work for the truck. Lifting it up is also going to hit you in the MPGs. If you start down this road you have to just accept your mileage is going to be trash and you chose to do it. No bitching about it later.

    I did 35s then 37s. I wouldn't go back to 35, but there are trade offs. 37s are heavier mpg will suffer. Truck still has plenty of power, but braking distance will increase.
    You will have to trim. Front fender crash horn at minimum. Some front and rear fender depending on lift and wheel backspacing. Mudflaps are gone.
    I'm on about 2.5" on front and <1" on the rear lift wise.
