If anyone has ever done so, how much trouble to install a wire harness for the rear door courtesy light in an Access Cab?
I see that my door card has provision for it [red circle], as if maybe the 'Limited' AC got that courtesy lighting, but not the SR5.

Run my own to splice into where the Blu-White frt door courtesy harness exits the kick panel [rt & lt sides]?

Nope, thats a bumper in case you close the front door first. Apparently kids do that.

    oooh...no s- - t? Been guessing at it for a while now.
Looks like a great location for floor/puddle light.

    Imma keep it stock
I can attest to that. Eww, I just cringe when I think about the sound of the front door closing before the rear. I've heard it more than I'd like to admit. Makes my skin crawl. Damn kids.

The rear doors do know when they’re open, and my best guess is that the switch or sensor is either in the hinge or in one of the latches.
