I really like my '25 Tundra. It's comfortable, rides well and has lots of room for my wife and our dog. I have some complaints
    1) lack of a detailed manual on how to use all the technology in the truck. With my old Tacoma, there was a separate manual on how to use just the Navigation/media system
    2) the.worst.media.interface i have ever seen in a vehicle. It is an absolute mess. Seems like it was designed by 4 year old. With a beautiful large info screen, you only have two windows, a map and XM Radio. With my Tacoma and its much smaller size screen, I had 3. That 14" screen should be a an information center with the driver choosing what each window contains. Below is an example of what I mean

It should be easier to navigate thru the media system too.
    3) Why do I have to turn the AC on every time I start the car. Once I set it, it should stay in the AC position until I turn it off after the hot season
    4) The buttons for the panoramic roof are a pain. I like to have the shade half way closed with the window open and it's difficult to manage the two especially when driving. Also why doesn't the moonroof/panoramic roof have an auto-close feature that closes the roof when you turn the vehicle off.
    5) Why isn't the selection for distance in cruise control global. You set it once and it stays that way until you change it. I have to change it every time I go to use CC. That means I have to take my eyes off the road to set it.

My 2023 came with a separate 244 page multi media manual. It's also available to download from Toyota's web site.

This thread might have an answer to your AC question.

Toyota will be releasing the next generation Toyota Audio Multimedia System with Arene. It will first be available on the 2026 RAV4. It will not come to the Tundra until the mid-cycle refresh. Internally known as 24MM.

Your layout is quite terrible compared to what Toyota currently have in 21MM.

Turn off "A/C Mode with Auto" in Vehicle Customize|Climate and it will solve your A/C showing as off after a restart.

Radar Cruise Control does have other optional settings available that can be changed via CARISTA/GTS+.

would be really cool if they designed these infotainment systems to be modular and upgradeable. I'm sure it wouldn't be cheap, but something i'd definitely consider if features were worth it.

CarPlay is perfect imo, super simple to use and the layouts are very nice. Too the point if it’s not CarPlay I’m not a fan of it.

Who's using Toyota's media interface when Apple Carplay/Android Auto are available?

I personally only use apple car play.

What I would like to see Toyota do is an update to the digital speedometer screen.
A digital temp gauge readout with numbers for the towing additional gauges would be really nice.
