Yeah, those look a lot like the e-code headlights I used to run on my MKIV GTI back in the early-mid 2000s.

It's just a standard halogen light bulb in there, right, not an LED? If so, and they came out with those in silver, I'd probably get them for my truck, then bake them open and remove the LED strip, and seal them back up. My main beef with a lot of these newer model headlights is the stupid LED halo strip around the housing lens, I think it looks stupid as shit. But I mean, it's still a huge improvement over what you had, so no offense intended.

They look decent. The LED strips appear basic with individual LEDs that can be distinguished in the strip. It appears that the cut off for the low beams is good, a very distinct line. I appreciate that new stuff is being made for the FGTs

Originally I was going to have a set made with TeqCustoms and that was going to run about good $700-$800 but came across this. For a faction of the price. Now the test is to see how long this last and whenever that happens now I have a set I wouldn't mind to take apart and mess around with it.

Dodged a bullet. I wouldn't want the TEQ customs ones. If you ever have an issue, what then? Take a headlight out, ship it back, and hope they fix it? At that price point, it's a hard pass for me.

That exactly why I didn't purchase them. Couldn't really justify spending that or running into an issue. They weren't the only company but I was shopping reading forums to see what I would do.

if your left light is lower than the right light people wont throw ball bearings at you. Left light bright is an easy target.
