I was wondering the same thing. I have a 2025 limited now but back in the day put a rear red TRD sway bar on my 2012 Limited 5.7.

The black axles have three balls per joint vs the red/silvers have six. I’m pretty sure that’s how they achieve more articulation / less binding. I think the shaft itself is also a bit thicker on the reds/silvers compared to black. When I changed mine from black to silver, the weight difference between the two was pretty significant.

The 12" Oval Quarter Wave Resonator option found here. I also have some decent recording equipment so I'll see if I can get the full sound range in a video.

Awesome. This is the one I'm heavily considering going with. What tailpipe will you be running with it?

Dump. I did hear that it amounts to a good amount of cabin noise though; but to me this is a utility truck not a Mercedes. Also trying to minimize the amount of stuff that will eventually rust.

So I have seen this a lot and really thought about getting it. I have the TRD Pro with the JBL system and it really lacks. After having it for a bit, you super recommend?

That's the same setup I have. There is some cabin noise. I don't mind it for the same reason. But after having it for a couple of weeks now.. its not super loud. I think having a crazy quiet truck and then going to this was a big difference. I initially thought it was very loud but after driving it a bit, it grew on me and doesn't seem as loud now.

You will love the sound. Much clearer sounding. I had one for 2 1/2 years and really enjoyed the sound.

Went and took a look at it at the body shop...waiting on all the baja designs lights to come in so they can put it all back together. They used a new oem hood, but I think I lose the oem decals. Do you guys know if those can be ordered? Want it to look as original as possible

Just finished installing the Beat Sonic amp I never got around to installing in my 23 SR5. Sure improves the sound in my 25 1794. Did the top tray only install posted a few threads above, wasn’t too difficult. I used a small flat screwdriver to help remove the larger plugs as I just couldn’t grip the connectors and push down the release at the same time. Inserted the blade at the ridge between the male/female parts and with a slight twist they released easily.
BTW, I don’t have small hands being 6’2”:)

Sweet, this and a Black Armor 6.5' bed mat (ordered this am) will be my 2 upgrades for the month, unless I feel spunky and order a set of SDHQ battery terminals then install my power trays hold down and start moving into electrical work next.

I have the 6.5 Black Armor mat, the fit is awesome and it works well.
Someday soon I’ll get around to installing my FitcamX dash cam with the rear camera and the Sienna plug in.
Definitely before our big road trip to Canada this fall.

Awesome, that's good to know. I bought a cheaper bed mat that is way too thin, it wants to fly away at speed on the highway. Talked to my dealer about the oem mat and he mentioned the stop sale so I started hunting for thick heavy alternatives. Too lazy to buy horse stall mats and cut them.

I run a front only cam for now and power it from my radar detector (Escort radar and cam) eventually I will upgrade and go with one allowing a secondary rear cam. Also need to get the correct harness and adapter to power the radar from the mirror plug up under the headliner. It was so much easier on my 2021 as I just tapped two wires on the connector that plugged into the back of the mirror with Blend Mount power taps. For now I am powering it from a 12v adapter plugged in behind the bulletpoint mount I have installed.

Update to this post. Had the alignment checked today & it only needed one small adjustment on toe. Nothing to do with the UCA'S. So, from the steel UCA's to the TRD's, no difference in alignment, BUT it does help the angle of the upper ball joint as the joint is in the exact same place as the steel ones but just tilted more toward the wheel to make things line up better & give more articulation. FYI.

Unpopular opinion: TRD pro tailgate spoilers look like garbage, because they break up the flow of paint.

    IMG_5639.jpg

    Soooooo

ordered an OEM spoiler and lights, sanded all of the textured trd pro camo off of it, and paint matched it. Came out perfect.

and before I get all of the why not buy a TRD pro comments, day 1 of owning this thing, I put it on king 3.0 IBP’s, effectively getting rid of 95% of the value in the trd pro package. Also can’t stand Toyota hybrids.

Agreed on your truck. On the Pro colors black and MGM, I think the black camo trim pieces complement the body colors well. From a distance, they blend right in.

OEM makes a mat. IDK why ther
Toyota does make an OEM mat again. Not positive of the reason for the stop sale but it is available at dealers again. I have one, it's nice.

Appreciate it, they don't seem to have any 6.5' bed mats anywhere, including the link you sent. Would have preferred the oem mat.
