w/o flares is the ‘morning after’
& w/o flares usually looks better.

we need to rhinoline your bumpers in a light tan.

hmmm. Well then I need to take a closer look; i can swear it looks like a single-2 wire harness, albeit sort of black shrink-wrapped and pinned to the reservoir metal support frame. IDK. Also didnt notice a charcoal cannister, but wasnt looking for that either.
Your avatar sez an '02 LTD...wonder if that much changed for'05-'06...I also have the '03 FSM to check...
Guess I'll try the disconnect and see what happens- update in a few days.

BTW: thx for taking a look [in the dark].

Nobodies got any ideas about my resonance problem? Took it up to 80 today, happens above 40 in 3rd. Doesnt happen in any other gear, road noise sorta drowned it out above 60. Doesnt feel like wheel speed, i’m used to tapping gravel until i hit 45 or so. It doesnt always do it. Its softer somtimes, and louder others…ihavent figured it out yet, and dont have a long enough street to hang out of the drivers door to pinpoint it at speed. Might jack it up & run it.

anyone here ever tried tinting their own windows?

Sounds like wheel bearings to me.

I won't do tint. It's too easy to fuck up and cheap enough to have it professionally done.

Me and Jake have discussed that when he builds me some bumpers. Maybe do the sliders too.

I agree, thought something was not as pleasing to the eye. As much as I loathe flares, with that two tone it really looks better carrying the color over the wheel well

apparently i may be wrong about its wire harness into brake reservoir...im looking again later today.
agree the topics been discussed [1000x?] but havent seen conclusions on its disconnect w/out collateral effects to other electrics, etc.
but thx for the follow-up....vote of confidence anyway.

Now that I’ve got the vc gaskets replaced and the lift has been on for 3000 or so miles I want to clean up the caked on oily mess and cv axle grease all over everything. Mainly so I can tell if I get another leak and tell how much grease I’m slinging. Here’s where I’m at. And of course the skid plate is totally soaked too. What’s the best way to approach cleaning all this junk off? IMG_2058.jpg IMG_2057.jpg IMG_2060.jpg IMG_2059.jpg

There are a number of connectors within inches of the 2 you're concerned about that all gather together into the Eng Rm Main Wire....it's not unusual.
In numerous of the "1000x" threads you mentioned that the buzzer is a simple 2 conductor pain in the ass to some folks and I doubt you'll bump into it in the Lunch Table thread but who knows, this thread has veered way off from what it was intended for...."Its Saturday, so who has plans besides first gen stuff?"

The buzzer has no capacity to report back to the mother ship. It's has a constant gnd and is fed a +volt when it's called upon.

IMHO, the only way you personally are going to be convinced is to simply unplug the damn thing. No codes will be generated nor will ECU even know about it.

Well my day consisted of yard work and overheating my ass off. It looks great now though, apart from my hedges. My hedge trimmer chose to self destruct the other weekend and I haven't gotten around to getting a new one.

I bought this one at goodwill for $15 and it lasted a few years. RIP soldier.

Thursday bullshit, Friday bullshit, Saturday bullshit, it's all the same shit, different day.
Been watching the first season of Walker Texas Ranger. This show rules. The first scene in the first episode the bad guys leave two people out in the middle of nowhere for the buzzards. Bad dude goes "it's hot out here, no need to kill em, buzzards gotta eat, too."
So much wrong in that one scene.
First everyone is wearing long pants and long sleeves and coats and vests, second it's clearly Texas fall winter (looks cold and wet, overcast) and buzzards don't care if the people got shot or died from the "heat".

But hey, Walker drives a bitchin 93 Sierra.

/\ /\ YES! Thats some stone cold, solid conviction. /\ /\
You got my vote- let the 'circuit de-energize' begin...Thx @BubbaW .

As i stated in another thread I inquired in: I cant stand that M-f'n beep, simply because it has no apparent purpose as far as I cantell.
EG: Im standing there at my door, w/FOB in hand, pressing Unlock. I can hear the linkage engage b/c Im standing right here causing it! I guess Toyota concluded that I need to announce it to the gen public w/in the immediate 250' radius, at 430am ?
    WTF were they thinking?
What, a synchronized signal flash one time doesnt do it, we have to have an air-raid warning ?

Oh and apologies to all affected by my intrusion into 'fantasy fridays' at 'lunch table general', and since I veered this bitch so far off course, lemme go correct it up:
2moro [Sat] im'a go install new flushmount rodholders on a CC that needs to get my ass outta this rabbit hole and 30 miles offshore...w/a few cold Pacificos and some tight troll lines...

Especially if you get the misfortune of bouncing thru Heathrow….

If it makes you feel any better —

At PWM waiting to take the only direct Delta flight to ATL. OTW to PWM out of Camden, get a text the flight is delayed 10m. Then another for 10m. Get to the airport, clear everything, get to the terminal. Plane is technically there. They’re cleaning it. But … no luggage being loaded. Ok, odd.

30mins after original board time, still nothing. “Thanks for your patience”, no info on WTF is going on. Weird.

Finally, 45min after, multiple people on and off the plane, still no baggage loaded, “captain says the bathroom’s trash door isn’t working and they’re waiting on maintenance to fix it”. Like, why is the flight delayed more than an hour over a trash can door?!

49m to landing and finally getting back home, looks like we made up some time but man. What a joke.

    Yup. Wipe and move on.

Dude. You can just tape over the hole on the piezo or stuff something in the hole and it severely diminishes the noise to the point of practically inaudible. Just leave it hooked up.

Yeah, I said F it and cancelled my American Flight out of Malaga and rebooked with Delta through Madrid instead. Connected through Atlanta and just landed back in Little Rock.
