New here and have been reading up on everything.

I ordered a Limited Cement TRD with Dual exhaust and will be here between Nov. 2nd-6th. The sales manager just called me about a white 18 Platinum he could sell me for the same price. ( I work for the dealership as an advisor)

I love the cement color but also love the Platinum trim. I also get to pick new wheels out for the Platinum to add to the deal for no cost either.

Torn and looking for other opinions.

truck will not be heavily modded( leveled, bigger tires, sway bar, new led lights inside, normal crap) and be a mall crawler with occasional off roading/hunting excursions.

Sounds like you have a big decision to make! I do like my Silver Sky Platinum!
Between the color choices hands down Cement Limited all day long over a white, Cement.....it's the closest thing to silver :D:thumbsup:

Tough one. Don't want to be in your shoes. Did you get the cement cause it was you could afford or cause it had what you wanted? If you wanted more but couldn't afford, then go with white plat. If not, stick with your original choice if that is what made you happy to begin with.

    Platinum is a nice trim!

Nope. Stick with the Pro. They're hot :bananadead: right now. People paying as much or more for Pros than Platinums. He's probably got a buyer, or several, bidding in the wings on YOUR PRO. Not "false demand" when it's actually happening.

Not a pro. It's a limited in cement color.

It is a limited in Cement. Not a Pro.

But, pretty sure I am going with the platinum.....Just something about it. Picking out new wheels now. Staying with 20's and original tires until they wear out. So many choices my head hurts now.

Knowing that you're going into a white truck, it's a good decision even if you were downgrading trim level :D

My wife told me to just make the damn decision and do it. So while I was waiting she made it for me anyway and had the sales manager order it and will be delivered tomorrow all while I was "deciding"

Haha! In my experience, a lot of guys do the same for their wives, when they perceive a decision as not being made quickly enough...!

Don’t know why I started this either. I liked the cement color. But my truck now is white and I sat in a platinum yesterday and that was it. I don’t have to color match anything, I get all the whiz bang shit I like, new wheels and color I know I will always like.

You ordered a Limited in Cement because that's what you wanted right? Then wait for that one. The Platinum may be a better deal but I know if it was me, no matter how good the deal was I would always regret not getting the one I wanted. It's not always about the money.

That's tough. I love the cement color and TRD package myself, so I think I may stick with it if it were me. Hard to turn down a good deal though.

Well, because of this site, the TRD package suspension will eventually be replaced so why not get the platinum and add the suspension I want?

Regardless, it’s now a done deal. It was delivered today but I’m in St. Louis at a wedding and can’t pick it up till Monday.
