The stillen is i think mid-hi 700 and uses a free app. I caught it at a$100 discount. Changing maps on the fly with the app is better than more wires

About the same mileage I get, maybe a little less like 10 mpg. Moar smile per gallon for sure!!

 

Yes it's high but just wait someone will sell used for $500 or less. I got mine for $425 locally.

That’s a pretty slick set up. I’ll have to buy one of those kits. I usually wing it how much I need, this is the way. Takes all the guess work out of it.

When running E85, I like to use this product in conjunction with my E85 mixture to protect the fuel system. E85 tends to hard in the fuel pump and injectors.

I never ran any of that stuff on my straight e85 vehicles...ran a tank of premium every now and then but straight e85 (Really only E80 here) didnt last long in the tank anyways
never seen a need for it in the truck at e30-40 blend.
will be interesting to see my plugs at 40k

 

I'm using Banks Pedal Monster plus the their iDash I love to have the read right there and no having to use the phone to see details. the Pedal Monster+ iDash it's connected to the OBD.

I have the jb4 using the BusCan of the front active spoiler, this way I don't have to connected to the OBD.

one question regarding the e30. Do we need to buy the e85 kit for the truck from BM or doing the mixture does not require the e85 kit?

anyone running long therm e30 mixture ?

You dont need the kit...it does help when trying to figure out what E% you have and how much e85/fuel you need to mix.

Ive been on E30 and map 5 for 3yrs or so...no problems. I do have their sensor kit though and it makes mixing so easy using an e85 calculator app

 

Map5 ?? I'm missing something here I just got 3 maps out of the bat, is the map5 a custom one ? if so where can I get it .

Map 5 is e30+ map. Are you running the newest firmware?

 

Yeah I installed the unit about 2 weeks ago and downloaded the latest firmware, the map3 for me is the e30 blend option.
any other map after the 3 is empty.

I installed mine just over a few weeks ago, it has maps up to 8 and the irony is I don't have access to E30 or 85.

 

Hi I just updated and yes now I have map5 e30 +6.5 psi... nice!! will start playing around with the mixing and will post some video with results using the dragy pro.!

update the firmware to the latest version, and the maps should show up. The details do the maps only shows when your are connected to the jb4 . map5 should say e30+6.5psi.

Yeah I'm sure it does. I originally thought it'd be as easy as the simple calculation (~8.4gal E85 and the rest 93 octane). But when you drill down to and look at the fine print, there is no telling how much ethanol is in the 93 when it says "up to 10%" and E85 is not necessarily 85% ethanol. The sensor would be a much easier way to tell but damn is it expensive!

 

This is what the JB4 app for Android shows for me, I'm stuck on Map 3 until I can find E30/85.
BTW how are you guys getting it to display on the infotainment center?
I don't mind using the phone app and I'm probably stuck with, it but options are always better.

 

I think that may be android auto. I don’t see CarPlay options in mine.

 

I use a Binize box and then the JB4 app is installed there.
