Speaking of old trucks... I just saw a Nissan Hardbody towing small backhoe on a gooseneck. Never thought I'd see a compact pickup towing a gooseneck trailer. Haha

My buddies dad had that truck, but a GMC Sierra, when we were kids. I always liked that color. I'm more into the body style that came next, but before the ugly ass cat eyes

Mine rattles when it’s fully closed. Gotta bring it down just a bit to stop the rattle

Alright, truck started doing something weird today.

you know how if you pass another v8 pickup with an exhaust & similar gearing, the exhausts start to resonate with each other? Well, my truck is resonating with itself. No other vehicles around, and it starts with a slow ‘wom wom wom’, & the pulses start to speed up into a ‘womwomwom’, then slows back down to ‘wom wom wom’ & repeats the cycle. I was holding a steady 45-50mph & have never had this happen before.

any ideas? Is my exhaust resonating with my intake? Didnt sound like tires, and did it on several different roads. Doesnt do it while accelerating or engine braking.

    Idles smooth.

engine rpm wasnt fluctuating, just a resonance with something.

Did you throw off a wheel weight? meh, the changing frequency doesn't add up for that.
What sound do bearings make when they go... more steady constant right?
    Just slinging mud.

I havent been on a road faster than 45mph in days. Time is so slow here. But i did start to worry if something in the driveline might be resonating with something else in the driveline, but STG it sounds exactly like the exhaust resonance against 2 bro trucks on the highway.

Can anyone tell me if I can get the bushings without getting a new rack?
    Not finding them separate.
I can find grommet “A” but not the other two?

Yes, I just replaced mine. Got it from Rockauto. Came as a kit with all the bushings.
