I'm hoping to replace the factory lights with something brighter rather than attaching all new light pods. I am aware of the Form Lighting ones, but they don't say anything about being any brighter or measurements of their brightness over stock:
    https://www.diodedynamics.com/2022-2025-toyota-tundra-led-reverse-light-pair.html

I am planning to get the Diode Dynamics hitch receiver light to help, but upgrading the stock location reverse lights would be good as well.

For what it's worth, the Diode C1R Hitchmount is definitely helpful in general, but in terms of actual output, the Baja S1 hitch mount puts out notably more light. Of course, the Baja doesn't offer the running light/brake light functions, but everything is a trade off.

I'd love to know actual differences myself on the Form lighting replacement modules as well

Been down this path. Cry once. DD DD6436P easy stall, don't be intimidated by having to cut the hole, a template is provided. Grab a trailer wiring extension cable and it's almost plug-n-play wiring. I actually had a person complain that my back-up lights were too bright -

I have done the plate frame lights, no comparison to the output of the DD.

Form output was less than OEM due to lens being tinted. I went back to DD hitch mount

I will "Tag" you to the post/product I used for my reverse lighting solution. Easy to do and works amazingly well along with other safety related benefits.

DAMN the Baha designs is double the lumens of DD hitch mount light and wasn't even on my radar! The running light/brake was a nice to have but I'm fine with giving it up. Thanks for this!

Just do a search on OPT7 or Amazon for: OPT7 3row paralux LED in red.

Made for the Tacoma 48" and get the plug and play adapter as part of the kit. Was about $120 out the door when I got mine. Just solder (or wire nut) the white wire from the adapter kit pig-tail to the reverse light wire on the OPT7 and you reverse lights too - full function - or just go without that simple connection and you have turn signals and night time running lights, and emergency flashers. Easy install.

The reverse lights in the new tail lights from Form lighting aren’t bad and install a hell of a lot easier than the ones in the bumper. Expensive for sure, but something to consider for those with the poverty tail lights looking to upgrade lighting.

Another vote for this. I'm really happy with mine. I went back and splurged on the matching aluminum license plate frame

I just assumed the rear pods were universal, but now realizing they are plug and play. Thanks, this is a frontrunner for me.

Just ordered this with the current discount going on. The reverse lights are terrible on these trucks. Hopefully adding lights around the license plate frame will help out a ton!

I went with the Baja Hitch light. Plug and play. I did not want the brake running lights that the DD has. Plenty bright.

Part arrived today. Easy few minute install and works! Only tested in the daylight but seems bright.

Unfortunately, I need some longer zip ties than the ones provided and of course I can’t find the few hundred I have that are hiding somewhere…

I have a long trip tomorrow so I pulled it back off for now. Will get it back on once I find my dang zip ties…

Looking at lights an be deceiving as we know from HID/LED headlights in a reflector housing will be blinding, but no beam down the road. Here is a image that counts, showing plenty of illumination as viewed in the drivers mirror.

Great pic showing the light its throwing. Id be very interested to see the same view from one of the guys with the license plate light installed, if they'd be willing.

I have the DD hitch pod, ss2 kit and the VLED plate. If someone says they can’t see me backing up I’ll be damned.
