    Yep, stairs are bullshit.
We built a 2400sqft rancher and I still bitch about the 3 steps up from the garage.

I hate stairs. The only stairs I want (not much of a choice) is for my basement.

We don't have those here, so zero reasons for any damn stairs.

    Oh man that sounds perfect.

We have a little over 1,000 SF x 3 levels, that was ok when the girls were both here, and I could go hide in the basement sometimes. It’s fine though. I get my steps in.

It’s got some potential right? More potential oak trim to paint. :p

A few better pics of the area. Nice large property. Insurance probably would be really high. Ya needs some updating. Nice wood stove.

We had stairs in our last house and they never really bothered me, but now that we have a single story with no stairs I'm pretty thankful. I love our floor plan too.

It is nasty there. My wife worked for American Airlines for 28 years, so we often flew their hub at DFW and also went to Corpus Christi often. It's like walking in soup.

Yep, exactly this. And not just there. We're going to be in the low 90's for air temps the next few days, but dewpoint in the 70's also.
Breathing feels like semi-drowning at that point. It's gross.

We got our share of hail up here yesterday also.
A few nearly baseball sized just a couple miles from me.
Thankfully we only had walnuts and smaller falling at our place.

I'd rather live in your neck of the woods over anything with humidity. You're soup description is spot on.

Our own version of the soup is almost upon us. The TV weather douches said we will start getting our first bit of monsoon humidity starting next week. The old way to define the start of monsoon was 3 consecutive days of 55+ dew points, although it goes higher than that. Shitty part is that it will still be well over 100.

That was just after 9 am mtn standard time. Windows in the house were closed overnight. I finally opened all the windows and the slider for some fresh air. That's when my wife put her layers on.

    Yup. No corn juice!
    Corn is food not fuel.

(Except when I finally build my twin turbo hotrod (no, not the truck) then I'll definitely want cheap E85.)
