Looks like ARB now makes gen 3 air lockers. Anyone thinking about getting one?

When we get re-gear options, yes. Otherwise I’m not opening the diff just to add the locker.

That makes sense, I'm in the same boat. Glad there is more aftermarket support happening on these trucks.

This is to have the capability to lock the front differential. Popular among rock crawlers. I added it to my old FJ and never ended up getting into a position where I needed it, even while on the trails in Moab and Ouray. Good to have the option though if you’re into technical trails.

I think this is a rear locker kit, not front.

thats what I thought too. Why would I put a locker on a front dif with CV axels. I have both lockers on my Jeep with solid axels. Never would imagine putting one my IFS vehicle (CV axels). I also feel the ATRAC would be just as good for those situations. But what do I know...

Correct. I didn't pay attention to which was posted, just that it was a locker.

Same reason you have one on your jeep. Type of axle has little to nothing to do with it. Just depends on what you use your rig for. Plenty of IFS rigs out there crawling. Racers use them also.

Here’s my old air setup for the front locker. You could do the same for the rear if you wanted. Silent, instant engage/disengage, no wiring, and on demand (don’t have to be in 4lo). Best way to do it.
