My rear door speakers stopped working. Removed door panels, no wiring issues and nothing unplugged. Do they just stop working? Any help is appreciated.

May seem obvious, but did you check your audio settings to make sure the 'fader' didn't accidentally get adjusted to the front only...

Could be blown; are the foam surrounds intact? Have you checked fuses (some head units have a fuse in the back of the unit).

Both at the same time? Not likely the speakers then. Pull the hu out and check in the dash, or if you've done any work in the cab recently retrace your steps.

If you want to check your speakers to see if they are still working, as in not blown, there are two easy ways to check them.

Multimeter method. Just use the continuity setting and put one probe on the positive terminal of the speaker and the other on the negative terminal. If you hear the meter beep then the speaker is fine.

Alternative method. Instead of a multimeter you can use a double A or tripple A battery. You'll need two short lengths of wire also. Connect each wire to a speaker terminal. Now with the other ends of the wires take one of them and hold it to the battery. Doesnt really matter if you choose the positive or negative for this. With the second wire just tap it to the other side of the battery 2 or 3 times kind of quickly. You should hear the speaker crackle or pop eacn time uou tap the the wire to the battery. If you hear the crackle/pop, then the speaker is still good and the problem is else where.
