This morning on the way to work, the car in front of me swerved to the next lane and I immediately saw a small tree branch, too late to avoid it so it hit the valance at the bottom of my bumper. Here's the damage (note: the part that looks like a dent is my reflection in the bumper, not actually dented).

My question is, has anyone here put the valance from a 2010-13 on their pre-facelift 2007-09 truck? It's only a subtle difference, but I do think it's a nicer look, so if it will bolt up with no issues I want to get the '10-13 valance.

Other note: the ground is wet because it was a rainy night and also off-and-on this morning...not anything coming from the radiator. It was fine.

    Alot of them
The parts diagram on SparksParts shows the valance in the diagram for the steel bumper but does not list a part number. It does show a valance part number for the resin bumper. I don't know what the difference is between the resin and the steel bumper, but it does only show it fitting from the 2010-2013.

Yeah, I've seen it listed as not fitting the 2007-2009 models, but looking at all the holes and tabs it looks like it should line up. I'm thinking sites call it not a fit because it was only manufactured for 2010-14. But if they both had the same bumper design, they would technically still be compatible. I just don't want to be the one who spends the money to confirm it, just in case...haha.

Thanks. Looking at the locations of the holes from some pictures of the inner sides of both, I think they'll line up. Also looked at the chrome piece and found out the same part number is for 2007-2014, which gave me just enough confidence to order it. I guess I'll either have a little visual upgrade, or I'll be the idiot who finds out the hard way and lets everyone else know it doesn't fit...

Odd that it reads 2007 to 2014, I don't think that part is going to fit a 2014.
That was the year they did the 2.5 upgrade(?) and changed the front bumper..:cool:

Just an update, I mentioned it in another thread but the 2010-13 valance does in fact bolt right up on the '07-09 trucks. Nobody else will ever notice it, but I like the look better.
