Just got the truck above, plan on using a Bilstein 5100 leveling kit at 1.57”.

Also planning on going down to an 18” wheel for a smoother ride, probably just gonna buy some Toyota OEM 18” wheels because they’re cheap on FB Marketplace.

I want to run BFG 275/70r18 tires.

I just wanted to make sure I know my current wheel offset and what offset is acceptable on a Toyota OEM 18” wheel to avoid rubbing…

I think I’ll be fine with just about Toyota wheel, but not the kind of thing I want a bad surprise on after the fact.

I often see +25 & +60 when I google google the specs, assume either is acceptable, but would certainly prefer the +25 if it won’t rub.

Will 5 lug 4Runner, Tacoma, & LandCruiser wheels also run fine on the Tundra?

Stock should be right around +60mm offset for most oem tundra wheels. You could probably go as much offset as around +10 without rub. Usually around +18 is a sweet spot with wider tires.

4runner wheels will not work since they're 6 lug and your tundra is 5 lug. For oem wheels you're limited to 2007-2021 tundra, 2008-2022 sequoia and the 5 lug landcruisers.

For a 2.5 gen tundra, 2014-21, they are always +60mm offset and usually 18x8 wheel sizes. Even the TRD wheels.

the more positive the less it’ll stick out.

For example, the same wheel size 18x8 but +25mmoffset will stick out about 1-2 inches.

you can run that slightly larger tire but the front mud guards, actually called spats, there for aerodynamic reasons, will likely need to be removed.
