Yeah Jack stands can get in the way of creepers and things while ramps keep it clearer under. Seems like most work under needs a tire off cept maybe a diff drain n fill! Even the oil change on the taco the other day would have been easier pulling the filter through the wheel well. Somday maybe I'll have a lift.

Btw I ordered a heavy duty replacement latch from Brute Force for my tire swing today. Been waiting a few weeks for em to be in stock. I didn't expect them to be damn near $250 after shipping though.
I hope this thing lasts longer than the 4.5 years the older style latch did.
I wish BFF still had em listed on their website so I could see a pic of it and the price. I might not have had such sticker shock when I got the invoice this afternoon.

That back door goes ‘all the way’. No questions asked.

Just finished installing a Kenwood DMX 1057rx. Still trying to get the mic/voice command to actually work.

haha yeah, I'll see how the floating display feels on this dash for a while--if I'm not feeling it, thankfully crutchfield has a 60day return. This refurbished costs close to a new 7" dmx exchellon anyway

Hopefully it doesn’t get too cold where you live. I wouldn’t want the heater blowing on the back of my display.

I have been having a rough ride and some creaking and groaning when driving over big bumps while turning. I have been suspecting that I may have added too much preload and be bottoming out my shocks and coilovers. I finally found a minute to get underneath and inspect. I confirmed I'm an idiot and I added too much lift and have been bottoming out my shocks and coilovers and will probably tear a CV boot soon too. Won't be happening today, but my plan is to lower the coilovers back down and remove the overload leaf in the back. That should get me back down in the middle of the travel range.

Side note; what are people using to clean their AC evaporator coils behind the dash?

It'll be alright, doesnt really block airflow from when I had the ac on today. Probably won't get much for the passenger side if I were to try to point it directly towards me though, but still cooled the entire cab just fine on an 80+ degree day so far

I recently just did mine, I used a no rinse foam cleaner to spray down the evaporator coils and condenser Nu-Calgon 417175 Evap Foam https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DM8KQ3I?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share . I also used a kit from Advanced auto. The no rinse seemed to have worked better for me

These don’t fit great, but sure as hell good enough. I have black leather seat covers on the way and I wanted the armrest to match. Left the cloth covers on since these a bit too big, but I think these will match the leather covers well. Goal is slightly nicer, but not too modern where they feel like they don’t belong in the truck (diamond stitching, busy patterns). Also I don’t want to spend whatever katskinz chargers.

Spray in liners are trash, rust waiting to happen. Water getting under the liner happens, eventually, regardless how good it was prepped. Really a poor choice all around.
