    Hey guys,

I basically just need a thread to help gauge the interest on the ICON Alloys rebound for the Tundras. These will be a 17x8.5 and offset is currently unknown. We are trying to push them to make these for our trucks and need some backing from the consumers that they want them. They will be available in all the same finishes as current.

Please post up if you are interested!

I will need some 17"s ICON at some point. I might be interested in those ones or six speed. Will you have pictures on a Tundra ?

@joonbug these will look good on a silver Tundra. Pony up!

+35 on a 8.5" wide wheel is too much positive offset. You will be rubbing the upper arm just by installing it. You can't really go off of offset alone because offset is not a static number. Offset changes with wheel width. Backspacing is the only static number that doesnt change.

I really like these new wheels! If I was searching for a set of wheels right now I’d strongly consider them. That being said I love my current methods that are 18x9 +18offset. I know a lot of tundras run 18x9 and +18 seems to work for a lot of different set ups. My guess if icon made that size in the rebound they would be a good seller. Can’t go wrong offering a 17” and 18” option too.

Assuming because these are 17s? There are a few 18x8.5 wheels at +35 and +25mm offset that have no clearance issues. Not everyone wants their wheels ballooning out. I may be in the minority, but hey, you wanted input ;)

Man I’m with you! Not a fan of the over wide stance at all. Looks terrible from front and rear. Maybe 1/2” wider than stock would be ideal

There is very little in the way of options in the +35 to +60 range. For guys like me who want to keep the close to stock width look in terms of stance, it’s frustrating.

+25 offset is the sweet spot for our tundras, I hit up icon and asked them if they were making them for tundra and they told me not currently, but sign me up I’ll definatelt want a set!

Might be their best looking wheel yet. I'd consider 'em but I've got a lot of life left in my 18" Cooper pros.

These changed my mind from the scs sr8. I like the light bronze better. Why not in 18s?

I’m in, I like the look of those rebounds and the fact that it’s a 17” hwheel! I wish they made a machined one like the method standard machined

More people have been wanting the 17's to give a more aggressive wheel/tire combo. Going to the smaller size wheel also increases ride quality

I'm slowly looking for new wheels and this would be high on the list in gunmetal or machined. Like the 17's and if the offset is the same as the Six Speed that seems to be perfect.

If that's the case then I would with the scs wheels.

Drop the fake beadlock and it will sell well. Especially as a 17".

    No one.

I mean no one, is pulling out their credit card saying man that xyz wheel would look great and I would buy it if only it had a fake beadlock with a bunch of fake boltheads.

    JMHO.

I really want some nice black 17” wheels. Don’t be surprised if icon doesn’t respond.

Not really sure if this means you like the wheels and want them in black or if you are looking for nice wheels that are black?

We are ICONs largest dealer in the world, so when it comes to new products, they come to us to see what the market is asking for. It is easier for us to interact with the social media base and the customers that come into our store daily, rather than ICON just trying to search the web/forums.

Haha sorry. I was really tired. These are okay. I don’t think they are something I would purchase. I was just supporting the 17” size for tundras

I would love these in grey on my 2018 Cement CM. Let me know if they(or you guys) want to set them up with some 315/70R17 tires. If not then Six Speed it is anyways. So Icon still wins. I win. We all win.

My favorite wheel hands down right now! I'm in but would have to get some new tires since I'm running 18's right now.
