Check the PWR NO. 5 fuse, if it is good check the Back Window relay.
Fuse, a big 30 AMP fuse, and relay will be in the underdash fuse box.

The back window is a fairly simple circuit.
They did ISOLATE the ISSUE, the window doesn't work.
It didn't matter if the truck was accelerating, braking, or turning.
It wasn't a clunk, grind, or squeal, it simply didn't work.
How much more info did you need other than the back window isn't working?

You added nothing to this conversation in the form of helping the OP.
If you didn't understand their problem, ask for more details or move on.

I wrote that, actually. It is part of the training we provide for service advisors. I did copy and paste it from my word document; I didn't just scrounge it up from the internet.

For future reference year model, trim, and cab style were included.
Only double cabs have a back window that goes down, but you knew that.

I thought some AC 'side to side' sliders were powered? Not disagreeing with your general sentiment about being welcoming, but also not disagreeing with Black Mamba either. To me, the OP's post showed a sense of entitlement. Zero effort. Maybe I took it the wrong way too.

 

And it's also really not clear if the motor is making a noise but window not moving, or it nothing happens when you press the button. We're making assumptions that it is a DC and an electrical issue. Yes, that's the most likely, but a little more info would save time overall.

 

OK, last comment not directly relevant to the actual problem. The folks here are pretty tight knit and like to yank each others chain. A new guy might not 'get it' and we should be mindful of that, otherwise we come off as too clique-ish. But if the OP sticks around, they will get it soon enough!

I can’t answer OP’s question without knowing the cab type. AC had horizontal slider. DC had vertical. Process to troubleshoot is different on each. Also, knowing if other windows are dead may help too.

My rear window will roll down but stop half way on the way up. I release the button and try again, it goes all the way up then.

So I have something going on myself.

 

I swore that got mentioned on here before, and someone mentioned it was normal behavior, or something, but I can't find the post. I distinctly recall the mention though, and specifically a comment about it stopping half way. And I thought it was @BubbaW replying on the comment, but maybe I'm wrong.

My rear window is exactly the same. Pretty confident it's a safety feature so you can't roll your unstrapped child or dogs head up in the window with one action. Kinda like the whole spindles on stairs and deck rails need to be 4" or less to not allow a kids dome piece through. In this case it's 5" assumingly because the unstrapped childs head is more than likely larger than 5" diameter if they have enough strength to get up there. Dogs well, if your dog won't pull it's head/snout back in after 1 event then it's either a very dumb breed or you need to train it better.
