Check the PWR NO. 5 fuse, if it is good check the Back Window relay.
Fuse, a big 30 AMP fuse, and relay will be in the underdash fuse box.

In any diagnostic process—whether it’s automotive, technical, or even interpersonal—asking the right questions is critical because the quality of the question directly shapes the quality of the answer. Here's why:

    1. Right Questions Lead to the Right Information
If your question is too vague, irrelevant, or leading, you’ll either get:
    • Incomplete answers
    • Misleading information
    • A wild goose chase
But when you ask the right question, you:
    • Isolate the true issue
    • Uncover useful, specific data
    • Guide your thinking efficiently
    Example (Automotive):
    ❌ “Is the engine broken?”
✅ “Does the engine crank but fail to start after sitting overnight?”

The second question gives a pathway to investigate fuel delivery, electrical systems, or cold-start conditions.

    2. Right Questions Focus the Diagnostic Process
A well-formed question acts like a funnel. It narrows the field of possibilities so you don’t waste time checking systems that aren’t related.

“When exactly does the noise happen?”
“Does it occur during acceleration, braking, or turning?”
These answers help a technician pinpoint the area: suspension, drivetrain, or brakes.

    3. Right Questions Uncover the Real Concern
Especially with customer-reported issues, symptoms are often described emotionally or imprecisely. Asking the right follow-ups helps clarify the concern before you ever lift the hood.

“Can you describe the sound—was it a clunk, grind, or squeal?”
“Was the A/C not cold at all, or just not as cold as usual?”

This avoids chasing the wrong cause and aligns technician verification with customer expectations.

    4. Right Questions Prevent Assumptions
Assumptions kill accuracy. Good questions force you to look at facts, not guesses.

    ❌ “Is the alternator bad?”
✅ “What’s the charging voltage with the engine running?”

The right question invites evidence, not assumptions, which is essential for a correct diagnosis.

️ 5. Right Questions Save Time and Money
    Whether you're:
    • Diagnosing a vehicle
    • Coaching an employee
    • Solving a customer issue
—asking the right questions means fewer callbacks, less rework, and higher satisfaction. It minimizes trial and error and maximizes first-time fixes.

    Summary
Why It Matters Result of the Right Question
Clarifies the real problem Accurate understanding of the concern
    Directs investigation Focused, efficient diagnostics
Avoids wasted effort Saves time and cost
    Supports evidence-based thinking Reduces guesswork
Builds customer trust Fixes the right issue the first time
    Final Thought:
“If I had an hour to solve a problem, I’d spend 55 minutes thinking about the right question to ask.” —Albert Einstein

Asking the right question isn’t just about getting an answer—it’s about unlocking the right solution.

Are you so young that you don't realize not everyone is internet and forum savvy?
Perhaps the OP is older, found this forum, and stated his issue not knowing some punkass members would post worthtless shit?

The back window is a fairly simple circuit.
They did ISOLATE the ISSUE, the window doesn't work.
It didn't matter if the truck was accelerating, braking, or turning.
It wasn't a clunk, grind, or squeal, it simply didn't work.
How much more info did you need other than the back window isn't working?

You added nothing to this conversation in the form of helping the OP.
If you didn't understand their problem, ask for more details or move on.
If all you can do is cut and paste bullshit, don't try to help anyone.

Hahaha, you called me young. Thank you
    Is that a question?
Correct. However, OP did ask for anything either. OP simply made a statement, as did I.
I wrote that, actually. It is part of the training we provide for service advisors. I did copy and paste it from my word document; I didn't just scrounge it up from the internet.

Why be disrespectful to a new member for no reason?
    Why not help them out?
What info did you need that you were not given to help them?

If their post bothered you so much, perhaps encourage them to post in the new member area and introduce themselves.
Or better yet, why didn't you just scroll on?

Not everyone types for a living, nor do they spend a lot of time on the internet.
I just don't understand the reasoning behind you posting your shit remark.

    Be part of the solution..

I appreciate your perspective, and I agree—new members should be welcomed and encouraged to participate. That said, let me clarify a few things:

My intention wasn't to be disrespectful, but rather to highlight a standard that helps keep things productive for everyone. When someone posts without basic context—like what year, model, trim, cab style they’re working on, what they’ve tried, or even a clear question—it makes it nearly impossible to help them effectively. It's not about being rude; it's about setting the expectation that participation comes with a bit of responsibility to communicate clearly.

You're absolutely right that not everyone is an expert typist or internet-savvy—and that’s totally fine. But that also means it's fair to suggest (even firmly) that posts include the information needed to get useful answers. If we don’t mention it, how will anyone know? Helping someone means sometimes giving them a nudge in the right direction.

As for “just scrolling on”—sure, that’s always an option. But if no one ever says anything when something isn’t clear or useful, the entire community suffers. It’s not about being part of the problem—it’s about encouraging better questions so we can offer better answers.

Still, I’ll take your feedback into account. Tone matters, and if mine came off too sharp, I’ll own that. Thanks for the reminder.

For future reference year model, trim, and cab style were included.
Only double cabs have a back window that goes down, but you knew that.
Given the OP's name, English may not be his first language.

    upload_2025-6-10_17-21-17.png

Again, what exact additional info did you need to help with the issue the OP is having?
Why didn't you ask the OP for additional info that you felt was important to assist them?

Not everyone is familiar with internet forums or how they work.
Maybe your expectations of new members are a bit too high, thinking everyone knows how forums work.
Perhaps you could encourage the proper use of the forum instead of posting useless information.

Thanks for somewhat owning what you did, or didn't do.
Most of what you're posting is deflecting the issue rather than owning it.

Not sure why this got under my skin today, but it did.
I suppose I'm more inclined to help a stranger than to shit on them.
Texas is supposed to be the Friendly State.

I thought some AC 'side to side' sliders were powered? Not disagreeing with your general sentiment about being welcoming, but also not disagreeing with Black Mamba either. To me, the OP's post showed a sense of entitlement. Zero effort. Maybe I took it the wrong way too.

And it's also really not clear if the motor is making a noise but window not moving, or it nothing happens when you press the button. We're making assumptions that it is a DC and an electrical issue. Yes, that's the most likely, but a little more info would save time overall.

OK, last comment not directly relevant to the actual problem. The folks here are pretty tight knit and like to yank each others chain. A new guy might not 'get it' and we should be mindful of that, otherwise we come off as too clique-ish. But if the OP sticks around, they will get it soon enough!

    What do I know?
He might be referring to a rear door window.

    You are correct.
I give a lot of members shit on this forum, but I usually, not always, have some kind of relationship or history with them.
I just don't see posting random words to a new guy's post as being helpful or funny, and I have a sick sense of humor.

Thanks for your input on the slider..

And here we are fighting amongst ourselves with absolutely zero information added to the OPs problem. I would think that @Subtronics59 would have added something by now. Or, is this another one question wonder to collect responses to feed the AI machine? This is why I still stand by my original post that "Fried chicken is good", and I am becoming incrementally more cynical with every thread started in this fashion.

I can’t answer OP’s question without knowing the cab type. AC had horizontal slider. DC had vertical. Process to troubleshoot is different on each. Also, knowing if other windows are dead may help too.
