    ISA slots, man.

Same people would be shocked to learn we used DB9 connectors for mice, before using PS2 connectors, before using USB connectors, before everything went wireless. Surprisingly, DB9 is still a thing, to this day for comms, just not for home computers.

So did all the 5-1/4 floppies.

Love finding box turtles in my yard. They tend to stay in the same general area their entire life so I'm pretty sure I've seen this one before.

We’ve encountered several box turtles the past few weeks in ATL laying eggs. Got some good pics of one with its hole and eggs in it weekend before last.

Literally the first thing that popped in my head when I saw him. And I repeated it in that kids voice.

I wonder if that's what this one is doing. Just found him again. He only went about 30 ft. Looks like he's digging up my yard.

Edit- I may have used the wrong pronouns for this one. Don't cancel me.

    Edit: I finally found it.

Where is the discussion on what wheels will fit/interchange with tundra’s, 4 runners, and measurements etc.

Previous owner put 18’s on this one, and since it’s rather limiting id like to go back to original 17’s.

Only ones I can get in type, and width I want in 18’s in Michelin is 10ply.

Yup! Egglaying. She! Will take her about 2-3 hours to knock out. Lots of back leg digging, then laying, then burying. Don’t disturb!

If your truck has the rubber grommet, replace it at the same time. My ‘06 threads in, so I don’t hafta worry about the grommet breaking up and falling into the valve cover.

    “Boxed”.

Thanks. It luckily threads in. Super easy to get to also. It really didn't look too bad. Meaning there was very little carbon and sludge. Easily wiped off with a rag.

Same with mine, replaced around 70k original miles. It was gunky, but still rattled when shaken so the ball was floating as intended.

I tried to find it last go-round in the maintenance schedule, but the replacement date on the PCV was far lower than I expected. Tens of thousands of miles, but I can't recall the number.

Seeing stuff online about MA being the first state to outlaw aftermarket LEDs used in place of Halogens. Still trying to find a reputable source on this matter.

I'd like to know how they would word the document to see what exactly they describe as "aftermarket LEDs". Would it be a blanket ban or targeted towards LED bulbs instead of LED Projector lenses. There is a pretty big difference between the two in terms of functionality. Basic LED's just flood the street with light, where the projectors give you that "OEM" feel with the top cut off line.

Massachusetts's regulation on headlights doesn't outright ban LED headlights. Instead, it mandates that any headlight system used on public roads, including those with LEDs, must be certified as a complete unit according to a report on gatewaytoindustryschools.com. This means aftermarket LED installations need to be fully certified conversion kits to be legal

That makes a lot of sense. It sounds like there will be a lot more of a supply and demand situation on entire headlamp assemblies that offer LED's there and any other state that follows this direction.

Blanket ban (to my knowledge) since the bulbs aren’t characterized in their housing to pass DOT standards. It does sound like you can still use high output Halogens which only last a year or two though.

I’ll have to check if they have a direct link to the actual law as it’s written.

The most likely scenario is you won’t pass vehicle inspection I’m guessing.
