took the truck over to the trailer storage. ran the trailer up to Discount to get new trailer tires on. Super quick 30mins and $57 later, went back to trailer storage. washed trailer and installed an electric tongue jack. felt super planted w/ the sumosprings.

Painted the Coachbuilder tie rod ends candy blue over a black base. Can’t wait to get these on the truck.

Installed the rear TRD sway bar today. So far the handling seems better with much of the boat-like feeling gone.

    IMG_6220.jpg

Although it’s fun to imagine otherwise, my truck is primarily for moving people (kids and me) and project materials, not off roading. So on road performance trumps off road articulation.

I also installed the OEM tailgate lock, but neglected to get pictures of the process so you’ll just have to believe me.

Do you notice a bumpier ride? Especially over speed bumps? I currently have both front and rear on my Sport and I can see my rear passengers heads almost hitting the headliner.

Getting ready to install better suspension and front bump stops but since I've had my truck with stock suspension and both sways it's been a rough ride.

Race truck parts equals race truck feels...how often are you in the back seat? I'd chalk it up to, "oh well!"

Nice! I've also got the front super bumps from wheelers that I'm gonna install with my lift next week. I do currently have what I'm thinking are the black sumos in the rear that came with my truck. I wonder if the blue ones will give me a softer ride.
    20250406_173706.jpg

Also based on reviews and good advice:headbang:, I'm going to remove my rear trd sway bar and go with RAS instead.

Blue Sumo's will give a softer ride and I'm thinking the RAS will go on with the sway bar installed

In your opinion what size lift would the super bumps be recommended? I have a 3.5in suspension lift.

RAS will work with the sway bar, but I'm thinking he wants more articulation :mudding:

I'm thinking I would want less articulation since the RAS is going on for towing..... don't want my stuff swaying in the breeze...lol

Apples and oranges... I wouldn't say that articulation relates to sway. But, you can run both and remove one pretty easily if you decide you want to try with only 1.

Used it to take a tree down. Yes those are jumper cables connected to the winch cables. One day I’ll remember to buy cable and run permanent lines to the back.

Decided to relocate my SGIII after a hot day in the California sun yesterday melting the adhesive side of my mount that I was using for the gauge..

    Before:
    20241111_164923.jpg

Used some spare hardware and a tap to thread the adhesive side of the ball mount to make it able to use a screw/bolt to mount onto my center console in front of the shifter.
    20250608_150647.jpg 20250608_150712.jpg 20250608_155611.jpg 20250608_155621.jpg 20250608_155719.jpg

Gauge itself has an adhesive magnet plate on the backside that holds it to the phone mount for easy removal in case I need to use the gauge on another vehicle.

Cheap lil $0 DIY mod. Overall happy with the cleaner look plus I don't have the cable coming out of the switch plate now.
