    Hey all,

I tried to install the N2 remote start because I was sold on how easy the walk through was online and on YouTube, however reality has been a nightmare.

    1. Connecting the remote start to the proper modules is easy enough.

    2. the issues started when I had to splice the TPMS into the remote start module.

    3. This one is on me sort of, the manual said to cut the “pink” TPMS wire which lead to me cutting the wrong wire in the driver kick panel, repaired with a crimp.

    4. The actual TPMS is light green? That’s what I was able to find online, still didn’t work.

    5. now I am going back the OEM configuration but I need a new TPMS wire since the old one is damaged.
Anyone know what gauge that is?
    I posted pictures for reference.

If that is somehow NOT the TPMS wire what is it? Any and all help is very welcome!

Just get another wire and solder the gap.

But you should be tapping into these wires at the kick panel though. Not at the plug where you have zero room to work.

appreciate the response, do you happen to know what gauge that is? I think it’s 22/20 or 18.
Do you know how to unclip that connector? That should help with the room issue.

Pretty sure Toyota uses 16/18 stranded gauge for low current conductors like that one.

The de-pinning varies connector to connector. Some have a terminal retainer that you have to raise up slightly and then de-pin conductor.

There are other youtubes but the below is a basic of what's required. Google de-pinning connector for more videos. Having small bladed jeweler screw driver is a plus but not a necessity.
