I have a 2016 crewmax and just bought this cover off on marketplace and it was called the Bakflip mx4. I can’t tell what brand it actually is and when I’m trying to install it I can’t tell which way the clamps go. Any help is appreciated.

Might be worth trying the manufacturers website. They normally have installation videos on there. If that doesn't work, try YouTube. Usually someone posts their installation video on there. Can be quite helpful for ya!

It looks like the bracket you have is the one for the cargo management system, that your truck doesn’t appear to have.

A few... Definitely more than 2
The googles identifies that bracket as an Undercover Flex clamp that does mount to the track system that you don't have.

You need the version with the teeth that bite on the back edge of the bed rail cap

@1lowlife has some good pictures in this thread https://www.tundras.com/threads/hel...tion-using-factory-rails.105238/#post-2958024

Here are the installation instructions which don't really show the clamps that well https://undercoverinfo.com/images/Install_guide/FX5100QS_FX5200QS_printable.pdf

That is an Undercover Flex, you can tell from the serial number.
My Flex sticker didn't last but a couple of months.

Did you also get the frame rails for it that attach to the bed?
Also note there is a drain hole on the frame rails that you can attach a hose to drain water out of the bed.
I used water irrigation fittings and made these drains.
If I had it to do over again, I would attach the drains to the top of that plug instead of the bottom.

    You are correct Sir.

Yes I first had the clamp on clamps and they sucked.
I had to refit the right side every time I closed it because the frame came off the bed.
No matter how many times I put it back on, it fell off.

I ended up purchasing the bed rail system and Undercover sent me the bed rail clamps for free.
It was MUCH more secure and I never had a problem since.
I also had to fab my own tie downs because the OEM tie downs were too big.
