Today's steaks I did with a rosemary and garlic seasoning. Overcooked it a bit, but it was still good. Too busy multitasking...

For tomorrow, I'm doing NY Strips with a black pepper and coffee rub.

I usually grill these, but decided to do some steaks on the stove and baste them with garlic infused butter. Right at the end, I rubbed the soft, buttery garlic gloves over the nicely seared surface to get even more flavor. So good!

Whoa whoa whoa… hold your horses right there my friend. Possible foul on the play!

    Grilled chicken - yum
Garlic knot - not gonna turn that down!
Avacodo? - meh, I’ll allow it

But LETTUCE?! That might be a violation thread rules. Might want to cover that leafy green stuff up - maybe spread out the chicken or croutons a little bit. Don’t wanna get this thread nuked from inappropriate imagery..

Lmao my one healthy meal for the week almost got me banned! I’ll make up for it with the brisket I’m going to smoke and make delicious homemade tamales on Sunday I promise!

I'll allow it. I actually love salads, especially when they include grilled meat. The only thing bannable would be the lack of bacon on the salad. Every salad needs bacon.

Huh, I just assumed the green stuff was garnishment and not edible. Salad, who would have thought.

Here’s my attempt at redemption by polishing off the rest of the vanilla ice cream with half of a chopped up Hershey bar as requested by @SAGE63 IMG_0451.jpg

That should buy you enough time for brisket and tamales. Or is that brisket IN the tamales…? Either way should start you on a path back to redemption.

Speaking of brisket, I might go pull one out of the freezer. Everything else I’ve touched has gone up in smoke this week so might as well ruin a brisket while I’m at it. Haha.

Chopped brisket, cheese and hatch green chili inside the tamales. Already have all the fixins and a fresh cut brisket in the fridge today from the local butcher. I got the Tamale steamer pot/basket last year after the first time we made them which will make it much easier so been looking forward to using it! Only downfall to my masterbuilt vertical smoker is this is about the biggest brisket I can fit on the rack but it will still be plenty for the tamales and sandwiches for my lunch for the week.
