I recently added a Retrax tonneau cover to my Tundra, and want to add a bed rack over it. I plan to use it for hauling canoes, possibly add a cargo basket at some point, and lumber for house projects, so it needs to be versatile enough for everything from standard household tasks to light off-roading for camping, fishing, hunting, etc.

I've had my eye on the Yakima overhaul system, but I've seen some REALLY good deals on Elevate racks, and was wondering if anyone has used them and if there is any reason to spend significantly more money on the Yakima setup. Thanks!

I have the Elevate rack and have been happy with it. Same use cases - paddle boards, lumber, etc. Sturdy and easy to mount and remove when needed.

I have the elevate system on my truck and have been very pleased with it. I keep a roof top tent on mine. Also added some mods to carry additional gear.

Sweet setup! Are those the go rhino running boards? I'm thinking about adding those too. Also, what suspension and tires are you running?

Yes, very happy with mine. They've been hauling my toys for a couple years now.

A number of people have messaged me with questions and (I think) have gotten them after seeing my posts raving about them.

Had a DM today as a matter of fact. Get 'em, you'll be pleased.

Running boards are from Amazon "Tyger Auto Star Armor Compatible with 2022-2025 Toyota Tundra | Double Cab" , eventually would like to get real sliders. Dobinson's MRR with heavy duty springs in the rear. Brinks Alpine 17 inch rims with +18 offset. Went with titanium color to change up the look some, I had seen a lot of black or bronze rims on green trucks. 37 inch Ko2 tires for now. Got these for a good deal on Facebook. Will probably switch to another brand after these wear out. Took a lot of weight to get these balanced.
