Not all who wander are lost.

Sometimes they were driven into the woods and abandoned…

I'm proud of you for drawing a firm boundary. Yet I'm pretty sure the constant barrage of insults headed your way aren't going to slow down much, if at all. There is a lot of love that is given through insults around here.

I was single for many years because I held this same philosophy. I didn't want to be in a relationship that required work. It exists if you're with the right person. And it doesn't mean you're desperately searching for them either. You just have to be aware enough to hold unto the one when she comes around. I fully support staying truthful to oneself first. You can't be in a healthy relationship if you don't.

Not a bed set up I'd want to wander into after a night of one too many... But it too, looks like a fun ride.

I had a Miata killer Civic si back in the day. It was a hatchback, so short and very well balanced. Lowered about an inch and I could lift a rear wheel in the corners and it still felt planted. Made in England for the us market. It was a play car at the time and it was fun but the insurance on it was ridiculous so I got rid of it.

In the 90s, I had a VR6 corrado. It was a beast of a v6 turbo engine. I loved that car until it got stolen and trashed. It was recovered, but was never the same afterwards. The electrical system was forever damaged.

Oh, for sure. To be clear, amazingly, my son's not an a$$hole at home. Sullen or moody occasionally? Of course, but that's the very definition of a teen.

With that said...you *KNOW* you're doing something right when your son occasionally comes to you and says "Now I understand why you said [insert parental platitude here]." We honestly lucked out with our son - pretty compassionate/empathetic, likes to help mom/dad, is respectful to parents, etc. :)

I lost my mancard in the church parking lot in the early ‘90’s, doing donuts in the Isuzu. It flew out of the triangle window thingies. Never found it again.

It sure was. As a comparison about 8 years ago my wife and I bought a wrx hatchback. And that car wasn't even as close in power and handling as the Corrado.

It's less about professionalism and more about the novelty of seeing someone without a full sleeve of tattoos when I'm out in public.

Though I'm old school and I don't think professionals (I'm an engineer) should have tattoos anywhere that's visible when at work.

My manager is wearing a shirt with very short sleeves and a tatoo of what appears to be a set of stars is starting to show on his arm.

Not military / patriotic stars…more like mushrooms and rave party. Don’t think I will ask…

I can relate to that. Overall if my kid(s) is being a little asshole towards me, it's likely something of a reflection of myself. I'm happy to say that I believe both of them will go out into the world and be self reliant and strong willed enough to do just fine. Because they are both kind and respectful.

Where did the pole come from anyway? I missed it
No tats here I guess I just never felt the need had my ear pierced for a few years when I was much younger
I don't mind tats on others (some amazing art work on here) with a couple exceptions Face/neck and for some reason I don't care for hand tats
