heated steering wheel

    can a factory heated steering wheel be added to a 2019 tundra platinum and is the button on the steering wheel or the dash because i dont see any slots for a button on dash and is additional wiring or does the steering wheel harness support this thank you

    None at this point.
    While it gets plenty cold in South Texas....occasionally,I just cant see needing a heated steering wheel.
    Seats? Yeah I could see that but steering wheel?

    Looks like there is a factory blank to mount the switch on the panel on the left above your knee.

    I am going to do the heated steering wheel soon and also have a 2019 Platinum.

    To create a new space, I did the rear window switch relocation (to center console). Little bit of work, but already well worth it. Happy to chat if you have questions!

    I installed the heated button in the center of the dash where it meets the console panel. That was the only area where I had an open switch blank. I know some guys have removed a switch on the left side of the dash that they don’t use and put the heated button there.

    That spot is where my switch is for the heated seats that previous owner added. I can't thank him enough.
    No steering wheel heat though.
