Does anyone recommend a light bar for the hood bulge that doesn't cost an arm and leg lol. I am looking for some on Amazon but looking for a white bar but could also be used as an accent light or drl if you know what i mean.

    The nice ones cost $$$$$$

All the other ones are just meh.

It's an all or nothing thing with the light bars. I've heard the nice ones can still take on water. Nothing will be oem grade

Yea but I don't feel like spending 1k on a light bar. I've been looking at the nsv and it's really nice but just not worh it spending that much on a light bar imo

You've come to the same conclusion that I have. I've been wanting the nsv bar for 5 years, and here I still am, with no bar.

    Alot of them
There are 2 differences between the NSV and say the BD S8 for the same price.

    NSV
Factory style fit, but only about 9,000 lumens of output. They also rewired it and requires high beams to even operate it.

    BD S8
A royal PITA to install, but well over 20,000 lumens.

    Hey @Oz_zy ,

While Baja Designs doesn't offer a specific solution for this setup, SDHQ does provide a kit that utilizes our S8 light bar, designed to fit in the hood bulge. This kit allows you to configure the light with a clear main light and an amber DRL. You also have the flexibility to switch the main light to amber or change the beam pattern by simply swapping the lens.

When you choose a Baja Designs lighting solution, you're investing in a product that's been tested and proven in some of the most extreme environments around the world. Plus, our industry-leading lifetime warranty and support ensure your lighting solution will outlive your vehicle.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me directly, and I'll be more than happy to help you out!

The install wasn't that bad, haha. Although I didn't aim it correctly and need to do that soon.

If you’re not looking for a lot of light output, RC has a kit that you can get white and amber on the same bar. I have mine wired for only amber to go with my parking/ driving lights. I think it’s a good light to have in inclement weather so people can see you better. I don’t know how bright the white light is. And I don’t know if you can have both on the same time. Someday I’ll wire up the white light and find out.

RC photos show it’s not as bright as it really is. You can see mine is brighter than their website photos.
