Is there a way I can keep my drivers seat and steering wheel from moving all the back every time I stop the truck and remove the key / re inset the key. I would just like for my seat to stay in the position that I have set.

I believe the dealership can disable this feature.

For my 2013 there were a huge list of settings in the manual in which you could change via the dash display (where it should mpg, miles to empty, etc.). I must have disabled the seat movement because mine doesn't move but wasn't able to disable the steering wheel movement.

The wheel movement doesn't bother me too much except for when I use remote start - when running and you put the key in, the wheel doesn't move and I have to remember to hit my preset to move it into place. Annoying when you forget and start driving away because the preset only works when in park.

I just wonder how many cycles that motor has in it before it goes out and needs an expensive replacement...

I do not have this setting for the seat in my dash display. I guess Toyota changed this feature in with the GEN 3 in 2014.

    See fine print
Toyota can disable it. It’s callled easy entry access. I turned mine off. The seat and steering wheel is programmed independently

A program you load on a laptop. Plug into your OBD port and configure all sorts of settings to your liking. Techstream is in the wild all over da interswebs. Or you can pay Toyota lots of dollars to change settings for you.
I disabled my seat movement but left the steering wheel away enabled.
