It’s not as bad as you think. It just requires a lot of patience, a six pack of penetrant and maybe a beer or two when you’re done.

Tackled the starter today after chasing a no start for the past week. Replaced both battery terminals, previously purchased a new battery within the last month. Checked my grounds multiple times over. Bypassed the starter relay to check that off the list too.

Replaced the intake manifold gaskets while I was at it.

Buttoned it all back together and she fired right up. All in all it went pretty well, took just over 2 hours.

Found one of the paper towels I stuck up in the vacant overhead console was wet indicating water is still getting in the headliner after a rain.

Will need to perform the hose test to narrow down what’s causing it. This is after I already covered up the top of the windshield and 3rd brake light in 2 in wide electrical tape.

Now if I only had a hose and spigot. Haha

If I rolled 60’on the interstates here, I’d get shot at.

Maybe so! I found I 85 traffic from Charlotte down to Atlanta so CRAZY and even hostile I last went to GA the long way around via I 26 and Route 20.

Asking directions at the hotel when checking out and heading back the way I came I joked to the front desk staff "I didn't bring enough ammo to deal with all the road ragers on I 85....how do you get to Route 20 from here?"

Joke went over better with the hotel maintenance man than with the cute girl at the desk.

Some people just don't get gallows humor. :quickdraw:

Today pulled the long trailer and mowed two yards. Had to unhook and go back for the rakes. WE FORGOT THE RAKES. Getting better using the second-rate back up camera for hook ups.

I later unhooked again after unloading and hit up Burger King. I really like the Tundra! She's got some great features.

Is that a TRD mudflap or a regular one? It's hard to tell through the plastic.

It's whatever these are--they match what's currently on the truck. The truck came with the rear passenger side missing one when I purchased it

So I just got a call from TrailGear (wheelers offroad) and they notified me that my order of King shocks has been cancelled. They apparently arent gonna be stocking these shocks anymore. So even though they showed in stock and I ordered them, they have cancelled my order. Pretty shitty to say the least.

Edit: Just checked their website and still show in stock, quantity 10. BS

Plus when I called to ask about my order status this morning, they stated they will be drop shipped from King. So It's not like they couldn't honor my order. King has these shocks in stock.

It sounds like they realized they screwed up the price and didn't want to honor it.

I tend to agree. Someone fatfingered some shit somewhere on pricing, and they realized it when it went to fulfillment.

Couldnt agree more! I was thinking the same thing. However its still up there at that price!

Edit: I just looked again and now it says "limited stock". Not sure why it doesnt just say "out of stock". Im so pissed off right now though. Was really looking forward to these. Ill keep shopping around, maybe around 4th of July there will be some decent sales.

Just another day in the paradise of freelance mowing..

Did one yard no trailer. Really we should let these small yards go as we have to go in minus the trailer but I know it'll be hard for the clients (always old widows) to get someone that's not a crackhead. We did it in record time....10 minutes from arrival to departure. Mow, weedeat, take the grass clippings with us.

Got fuel and did mileage count: 13 mpg. We did a lot of towing last week.

Picked up the short trailer (6 feet x 12 feet), single axle. Did 4 more yards.

Nothing of note happened: no crackheads to run off, no mowing mishaps, just a good day. :)

I probably won't install it, and I have absolutely no practical use for it but I figured it was hard to beat this deal so I got it.

It's one notch below the model that came stock in my truck (which adds RDS, radio part ending -0c060), but I'm pretty sure the radio brackets still on this OEM head unit for '04+ are unobtanium/NLA now, so ... can't hurt to have a spare pair on-hand?

To run 8 speakers would you need 2 4-channel amps? (To still have the balance adjustments)
